Take to a wine tavern, where you can sample and purchase speciality vino made in the region from wine-production houses. Tour historical sites such as a Preromanesque relic of an angel, eagle and lion, all around the local parish church. Pula takes around fifteen minutes to get to and as the economic and cultural capital of the peninsula, with a variety of activities to suit different moods. A mellow day, filled with knowledge and sights by visiting famous historic spots here, such as The Arena, the sixth largest Roman amphitheatre in the world, The Triumphal Arch of the Sergii or even The Temple of Augustus!
