Villa Punat is a beautifully modern home that possesses spectacular panoramic views over the Adriatic Sea. The home is located on the dazzling island of Krk, which is the largest and most popular island of the Adriatic.
The outdoor area is perfectly furnished to make the most of the lovely climate. Cushioned benches poolside are lovely relaxation spots where guests can enjoy lounging all day. The shining private pool is lined with stylish sun loungers where you can enjoy the feeling of sun rays on your skin. A cosy lounge poolside is ideal for drinking under the stars. The garden has plenty of greenery to admire including vibrant and native trees, flowers and plants. There is also a small green lawn where you can enjoy the pleasure of having grass in between your toes.
Inside, Villa Punat boasts a gorgeous and sleek design that sees white walls and furnishings complemented by bold wall art depicting the beautiful Adriatic Sea. A minimalist style can be appreciated throughout the villa enhanced by lovely plush furnishings, perfect for sinking into on those rare cooler evenings. The pool area can be accessed from the open plan living room via glass doors that also offer views over the garden.
The home possesses six large double bedrooms featuring smooth floors and inspiring views that will be wonderful to wake up to.
The Church of St. Roch is a picturesque and small church located in the town. Those with a love for history and tales of the past will appreciate a visit.
The quaint little church is steeped in history and is a reminder of a time when the town of Punat was hit by a deadly plague. While sleeping, a Punat resident called Jakov Raguzin had a dream about Saint Roch. In it, the saint appeared before him and declared that by building a church in his honour, the horrific cholera plague will be stopped. The church was then erected in 1855. It has since been renovated, however, you can still see writings on the church declaring that it was built on the holy glory of St. Roch and St. Sebastian.
If you have a lot on your mind, the church is a brilliant space to quietly think by yourself. The immediate scenery is wonderful.
Punat Beach is the nearest beach and makes for a great and sunny day out. The pebbly bay possesses plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to hire as well as a selection of neighbouring bars and restaurants to try (during beautiful hot days what more do you need?) As the night comes in, this beach will dazzle you at sunset, so, alternatively, head down during the evening and prepare for lovely photo opportunities!
