The villa looks out over the rooftops of surrounding villas to the blue expanse of the Adriatic Sea. You can lose hours of time staring out at the ever changing landscape of the sea, watching the blue azure deepen in colour as the day passes by. This sleepy village gives you a retreat away, a tranquil spot to spend some important quality time with your loved ones.
As you arrive at the villa there is a careful balance of indoor and outdoor living, with the villa enveloped by a pool terrace on one side and a luscious garden on the other. Once you are indoors there a calm and relaxing atmosphere, with smart, sophisticated furnishings and modern features that make your stay as comfortable as possible. The main living space is open plan, boasting a spacious living and dining area, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen tucked into the corner with its own breakfast bar. Bright and spacious the room opens out onto a terrace with a romantic dining table sitting right in front of the doors. Just imagine enjoying your own home cooked food al-fresco, with the table lit by a mix of candles and the star light shining down from the night sky.
Throughout the villa, each of the three en-suite bedrooms feels spacious and bright. The two double rooms both boast doors out onto picturesque balconies with comfortable seating where you can enjoy your morning coffee or sit with a cocktail in the evening, savouring private moments alone or as a couple. The twin bedroom is equally bright, with windows looking out to the garden and plenty of storage for your belongings.
Outside, the magic of this property continues, with the indoor living areas stretching out into the sunshine, with plenty of space for you to sit back and relax. The terrace at the front boasts the private swimming pool bordered by sun beds and umbrellas. You can relax in the pool, gazing out to the sea and embracing the sense of luxury.
Behind the villa the garden feels private and intimate, boasting large, built-in barbecue, a tranquil dining space and a luscious lawn where you can feel your feet in the grass. Villa Renate is located in the quiet village of Sutivan on the island of Brac. In this tranquil location you can discover and delight in the peaceful, sleepy villages, surrounded by stunning beaches and the beautiful blue azure of the Adriatic, making it easy to leave any worries behind. Sutivan is a small and serene village with a traditional Mediterranean atmosphere, the beaches are surrounded by luscious forests and the crystal-clear sea stretches out from the shores, encouraging you to swim and relax in the warm water. With its own shop and several local restaurants and cafes, it feels as though you will never need leave, although there is more magic to explore on the island as well.
Brac is located in central Dalmatia, a short ferry journey from Split. It is the highest of the Adriatic islands due to the Vidova Gora which stands at a staggering 778 metres, something the locals are very proud of. You can climb to the top by foot, taking in the stunning views as you go, or hop in the car and drive up, taking your photos from the peak looking down at the island and its surrounding neighbours, all seemingly floating in the blue sea.
The most famous parts of this picturesque island must be its white limestone, olive oil and of course Zlatni Rat. The unique limestone here is still pursued and it can be found at the islands only active quarry, this stone has been used throughout the whole of Dalmatia and Croatia, for hundreds of years, so you will recognise it as you travel around. The island also plays host to a very rare type of olive, used to create the islands famed olive oil that you must try! It also makes a great gift to take back home!
Zlatni Rat you may have heard of, or even visited before, known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole of the Adriatic. The beach is located in Bol one of the liveliest parts of the island, about an hour’s drive from the villa. Zlatni Rat is can only be described as perfection, with a pure white shore of sand and pebbles and the most remarkable, crystal-clear sea brushing against the shore. Across the rest of the island you can enjoy a taste of authentic island life, with amazing local food and drink, fresh sea food every day and a rich culture and history to explore. There are plenty of water sports and activities on land to keep you busy, making the island perfect for both relaxing and active adventures!
