Guests will appreciate the attention to detail and styling from the moment they are shown into the villa, with its tasteful furnishings, carefully chosen artworks, and lush indoor plants. At the heart of the property is a fabulously spacious and airy living area, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors that open onto the beautiful terracotta-floored terrace. Guests can stroll outside and take in the spectacular view of the shimmering sea and emerald-green Lokrum island, and toast the start of the holiday with a glass of chilled bubbly. Inside, the styling is chic and contemporary, with large comfortable sofas perfectly positioned to gaze out at the view and a large dining table where guests can enjoy some delicious meals. The adjacent kitchen is superb, and fantastically well-equipped, and has a stylish breakfast bar for a morning coffee. The property has fabulous master suites, each with a spacious living area and two en-suite bedrooms, as well as four junior suites, both with private living area and one en-suite bedroom. A glass elevator is available to transport guests to their own private quarters.
Outside, the lush Mediterranean garden is a small piece of paradise. Filled with plants and attractively laid out in tiers, this is an idyllic spot to relax and recharge. Guests can doze in the glorious Croatian sunshine on one of the comfortable loungers before stepping into the beautiful 25-metre pool for a dip to cool off. Lie back in the jacuzzi and be soothed by the powerful jets before showering off before lunch. Dubrovnik is famed for its colossal city walls and six fortresses which have guarded the city for centuries. Guided tours are available, or guests can choose to explore independently. Approximately two kilometres in length, the walls offer superb views down across the city and out to sea. From the walls, head back down into the city centre and make your way to the Stradun, Dubrovnik’s historic pedestrianised main street, with its shining limestone paving and impressive architecture. Enjoy a leisurely coffee or delicious lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants that line the street before heading to the 14th-century Rector’s Palace, now home to the Cultural Historical Museum. Guests interested in present-day culture will be delighted by the familiarity of Dubrovnik; the city was widely used as the set for TV show Game of Thrones – fans will recognise it as Kings Landing.
Dubrovnik’s spectacular coastline deserves to be explored and is best viewed from the sea.
