The villa itself is spread over three floors, with terraces and balconies jutting out from all angles, so you can truly get the best of the views. Offering absolute privacy, you can enjoy some quiet time with your loved ones, heading out to the nearby towns and Makarska when you desire a livelier atmosphere.
On the ground floor you will find yourself in a bright and airy living space with sleek glass doors opening out onto the main terrace and swimming pool. This open-plan room accommodates the stylish kitchen, dining area and a lounge. The furnishings throughout are modern and stylish, adding a sophisticated feel to your stay. There is one en-suite double bedroom on this floor, with a huge super-king size bed, so a good night sleep is a given!
Stairs lead down to the lower ground floor where you will find a games room and a Finnish sauna where you can fully relax. Upstairs the space is split into three more spacious bedrooms. Two of which have twin beds that can be slotted together to create a king-size layout, whilst the final room boasts a second super-king size bed. All of the bedrooms have their own private bathroom and access out to beautiful terraces overlooking the pool and surrounding landscape. From the top floor you can make your way out to a West facing terrace boasting a luxury whirlpool, with space for six guests to rest and restore.
During your stay at the villa it is hard to compete with the outdoor living spaces. The entire villa feels as through it has been designed with the views in mind, with the terrace stretching out towards the luscious surroundings. The infinity pool is heated, making swimming a popular choice all year round, bordered by sun loungers and elegant seating areas. There is a large outdoor dining table, so you can enjoy each meal under the sun and stars, making the most of this breath-taking setting.
Villa Rosalija is located only 6 km from the natural phenomenon of the Red Lake and Blue Lake in Imotski. A secluded and peaceful area, Imotski is the perfect spot to immerse yourself in Croatia’s vast countryside, with views stretching out across the surrounding greenery and Biokovo mountain range.
If you are driving from the coast, then you to reach Imotski, you will have to take the tunnel through Biokovo mountain. The mountain range does rob the area of sea views, but its kast formations create even more spectacular wonders! The unique landscape means the area is rich in stories, folklore and fairy tales, so to really understand the culture you need to gain insight into the local imagination! The Red and Blue Lakes will steal your attention for hours, with their mystical beauty making it hard to look away, you can even climb down and swim in the Blue Lake. This tranquil area is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, enjoying some peace and quiet in a breath-taking setting.
The neighbourhood is extremely friendly, great for families or groups of friends. There are restaurants within 1km of the villa, so you can eat out with ease, taking a well-deserved break from cooking. There are shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets, so everything you need is nearby.
We would recommend renting a car for your stay, as just 28 km from the villa (less than 30 min driving), you will find the most stunning beaches, dotted along the amazing Baska Voda and Makarska riviera.
The sea is clean and warm along the entire coastline, perfect for sunny days by the sea. Makarska itself is a quaint and charming towns, still celebrating the transitional ways of Croatia, giving you an authentic experience of Croatian culture. In the summer, the streets and main square are bustling with lively restaurants and cafes, ideal for a fun evening out. Behind the church you will find the daily open-air market, where you can pick up fresh local ingredients, creating your own home-cooked delicacies when you return to the villa! Along the harbour wooden excursion boats offer one-day trips to Jelsa on Hvar and Zlatni Rat beach in Bol on Brac – perfect for a family trip.
