Set in a quiet and hilly area, Villa Saule is an idyllic 3 bedroom property sleeping 8 people. Set no less than 200m from the closest beach, it boasts beautiful sea views from the large open terrace. Villa Saule has a traditional and tranquil feel, with a very modern and stunningly simplistic finish.
This modern and beautifully decorated property has a fully functional kitchen fitted with all the modern amenities, and has plenty of open living space with comfortable seating and a large TV for those quiet evenings in.  From the living room, you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay and those views continue throughout the property.
Making your way up the glass lined stairs, there are 3 large light and airy bedrooms, each with king size beds, modern en-suites and spectacular views. Cots are available for those with young children.
Upstairs the villa boasts a beautiful glass lined balcony area, adorned with seating for you to enjoy the day, or evening sunsets with the wonderful local views of the island and bay. An added aspect to the villa is the fitness centre, complete with running and weight lifting machines.
Outside, there is a large pool which has step access and comfortable sunbeds around for sunbathing or drying off after a dip. Also, there is a covered terraced dining area complete with a rustic BBQ.
There is parking for those guest’s intent on exploring, Wifi and air-conditioning throughout the entire property.
Villa Saule is located centrally on the scenic Croatian island of Čiovo in a town called Okrug Gornji which is one of oldest places on the island, originating around the 15th century as a fishing village. It’s an idyllic stretch of pebbles, lined with cafe-bars, ice-cream parlours and holiday apartments, an unspoilt touristic area.
This villa boasts close proximity to unrivalled scenery of sparkling beaches, traditional Croatian architecture and cliff tops. No more than 5km away lays Okrug beach which is the most popular on the Trogir riviera and is known locally as Copacabana. Here you can find many lively bars and restaurant’s serving traditional Dalmatian food as well as other cuisines, and a water sports centre for those adrenaline seeking tourists who can ride in a speedboat, or go rafting. Local to the island is the blue lagoon, which is a secluded tropical paradise known for its vivid blue waters and white-sand seabed.
For those interested in history, you can take a water taxi (there is a regular boat every 30 minutes from the Okrug Gornji) or hire a scooter and make your way to Trogir to visit one of the fortresses or churches they boast which reportedly date from the 15th century. Trogir’s grandest building is the church of St. Lawrence, and is a large part of the towns history and is included on UNESCO World Heritage list.
One of the notable restaurants set in the classy, sacral and aristocratic architecture of the local area is Vanjaka, which serves fine dining local cuisine in a modern setting and is popular with locals and tourists. The area is also a great area for nightlife, with several bars that have local beers. Just next to Restaurant Vanjaka is the Caffe Bar Smokvica which is a nightclub with an eclectic mix of music and occasionally a live band.
A short walk away from the villa, there is access to local shops selling fresh local produce, a pharmacy and all other day to day essentials. Furthermore, along the local strip, you have small bars and restaurants to relax in.
