There is something for everyone in this wonderful villa. You might not want to leave it, but crystal clear sea beckons just a few hundred metres away.Milna is located on the north-west side of Brac. The Venetians called it ‘Valle di mille navi’ (the bay of a thousand ships) due to the welcoming bays of Milna. It is reputed as the most beautiful and safest harbour on Brac. Stone houses along the stunning coastline are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture and the Baroque church with its typical Dalmatian bell tower is so beautiful. Milna will enchant you with its healthy Mediterranean cuisine, specialising in fresh fish, quality olive oil and home-made wines. You can enjoy sailing, fishing or scuba-diving from the harbours. Brac Island is blessed with stunning scenery making it one of the Adriatic’s most beautiful islands. It is less busy than the glittering islands of Hvar and Korkula. Curious explorers will be fascinated by the wonderful nearby coves of Osibova, Lucice or the Bobovisca harbour, Lozisca village and the nearby small island of Mrdulja situated at the entrance of the harbour. The charming village, Selca is very pretty. Sumartin, just below Selca has the most amazing clear azure sea. It is great for snorkelling as there are so many fish. The mesmerising Zlatni Rat beach at Bol that adorns 90% of Croatia’s tourism posters is astonishing. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean with its crystal clear sea that goes from turquoise to dark blue and is bordered with decades-old pine trees. Thanks to its particular shape, it one of the most exceptional beaches in the world. Zlatni Rat’s elegance and appeal have made it the symbol of both the town of Bol and Croatia. It is protected by the government of Croatia as a geo-morphological monument! Brac is famous for it’s very attractive, white stone. The famous White House in Washington is made from Brac stone. It is also famous for its ‘buhavica’ olive oil, cheese, wine, honey and wine. Even the most demanding gourmands will be impressed on Brac! The Stina Winery on the waterfront at Bol is lovely and the Prosec, a little like Australian muscat, is delicious! At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
