Villa Vilis is a modern, well-designed villa with four gorgeous bedrooms sleeping 7 guests and is ideal for a family holiday. Situated in the charming village of Marina, close to Trogir, it offers a tranquil setting for a peaceful holiday surrounded by lovely green scenery. Marina is dominated by a picturesque fort, a former summer house of Trogir bishops from the 15th century, which has now been restored and adapted into an attractive hotel. The little harbour is quaint. Fishing has remained important. There are great sand and pebble beaches with lovely pine and olive trees providing shade, many watersports and several restaurants serving delicious recently caught fish and excellent local wines.  Villa Vilis is very spacious, inside and out. Surrounded by lush trees, you will feel so secluded and will immediately relax. With whitewashed walls, straight lines and lots of glass and chrome, the villa is splendid and so easy on the eye! The lovely swimming pool is surrounded by modern sun loungers, grassy banks and a wonderful, covered outdoor dining and lounge area. This includes a barbecue and outdoor kitchen and looks so chic and sophisticated. There is a very popular playground for children with a toy house and trampoline as well as other toys.  Inside, the villa is again very streamlined and modern with upmarket furniture so you will be extremely comfortable. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is luxurious and inviting. The deluxe four bedrooms are gorgeous with superb linens. One of the double rooms is on the ground floor with its own ensuite. This would be perfect if you have grandparents travelling with you. The remaining, immaculate bedrooms are on the first floor with a stunning bathroom. There are two doubles here and a single room. The pristine bathrooms are gorgeous. Villa Vilis is a very ‘glam’ villa and perfect for a family that wants some quiet time, enjoying the natural surroundings while also being close to lots of entertainment in Trogir and other incredible towns. Further out onto the peninsular from Marina is Vinisce. It is a small, charming fishing village with a beautiful cove, lovely beach, markets, bakeries, restaurants, cafés, bars and a small harbour for fishing boats. The people of Vinisce are so friendly and organise summer festivals where you can sample homemade specialities and wines. It is a lovely spot for a glass of wine on the harbourside.  Continuing north around the coast, Rogoznica is a popular tourist destination located on a peninsula that was once a small island, Kopara. It has a beautiful marina, Marina Frapa, with luxury yachts bobbing around as well as many cafes, restaurants, a sports centre, swimming pools and nightclub. You will have no trouble finding a quiet spot on one of the many beaches. The Dragon Eye is a salt lake close by.  Trogir is a Croatian gem offering intricate medieval architecture, two yacht marinas, tightly clustered, attractive, historic streets, great beaches, waterside dining, a superb, landscaped promenade to wander along and a busy market. You will find local honey, wines, olive oils and plenty of grappa amid the huge piles of bright red tomatoes and melons. The Cipiko Palace and St. Lawrence Cathedral are worth getting your camera out for. Ciovo Island is connected to the town of Trogir by a bridge. It has lovely beaches including Okrug Gornji, Okrug Donji, Slatine and Kava. Trogir Diving Centre visits 30 sites, nearly half around the nearby island of Solta. The abundant coral and sponges offer a rich diversity of flora and fauna to explore, along with conger eels, octopuses and lobsters.  Other interesting days out are to Split Old Town with the spectacular Saint Domnius Cathedral and Diocletian’s Palace and the incredible Krka waterfalls and Sibenik.
