Villa Zigmar Croatia

This villa literally sparkles it is so well maintained! Villa Zigmar is situated in Kastel Stafilic which is the most western of the Kastelas, between Kastel Stari in the east and the airport and Trogir in the west. With three stunning bedrooms, it sleeps six guests.  Villa Zigmar does not have a swimming pool, but it does have a fabulous large garden and an indoor jacuzzi plus it is just 300 metres from a pebble beach. The garden is absolutely beautiful. On one side you have the greenest grass ever and wonderful Mediterranean planting plus a quiet terrace to read your book or have a morning cup of coffee. On the other, very spacious side you have a fantastic children’s playground with a slide, swings, rocking horse and a sandpit plus sun loungers and a seriously impressive, covered outdoor kitchen and barbecue and dining area. It is really is quite special.  The villa is incredibly spacious. The open-plan living and dining room is exquisite, as is the stunning kitchen that leads off it. It is unusual with the colour, but it is so striking and brilliantly clean! The living space has an atrium design to it which makes it feel so spacious and light. There is a balcony with another outdoor dining suite. The impressively kitted out gym, complete with a sauna, is great for fitness fanatics. There is also a games room with a pool table. The jacuzzi is an added bonus! Everywhere you look, you will notice the attention to detail to make this house so smart and lovely. The furniture is so comfortable and modern. There are two king bedrooms and one twin. The three bathrooms are stunning, with beautiful tiles. One has a lovely corner bath. The villa has some really interesting features including the doors and windows.  Villa Zigmar is perfect for a family summer holiday. It is so safe and secure and has so much to enjoy. Children will be so happy with the playground in the garden and the games room. Kastel Stafilic and the Kastela region is lovely and so close to the airport, Trogir and Split. The oldest tree in Croatia, an olive tree known as Mastrinka estimated to be over 1500 years old, is in Kastela. It is now a protected natural monument due to its uniqueness and age. The roots of this 10m high tree spread over 100 meters, the span of the tree is 6 m, and the span of the treetop is 22m. The impressive Mastrinka is still oil-producing, giving quality oil which can be bought as a souvenir from Kastela. Close by are beaches, shops, restaurants and cafes. Gabine, Bile, Resnik, Stari Resnik and Divulje are the beaches. Mostly they are pebbly and lined by pine and tamarisk trees which provide some shade. 
Hikers could reach Kozjak from Bijaci, which is about half an hour’s walk from the villa. Bijaci is the starting point of a 30 km long hiking path “Cradle of Croatian Statehood Bijaci – Klis” that passes along the Kozjak’s highest points. The Croatian gem Trogir will entrance you with its wonderful Medieval architecture, its warren of little narrow streets, yacht marinas, lovely beaches, fabulous restaurants and bars and its landscaped promenade.  Ciovo Island is connected to the town of Trogir by a bridge. It has its own amazing beaches, Okrug Gornji, Okrug Donji, Slatine and Kava.  In the other direction, Split Old Town will seriously impress with its historical, majestic monuments,  atmospheric streets, delicious restaurants, cafes, bars and its unique, charming shops. The promenade is a major attraction in the evening and is lined with popular bars and restaurants for waterside dining.
