Villa Palm Cyprus

A bright and modern holiday home in Protaras’ Pernera district, Villa Palm offers accommodation for up to six guests. Situated within a short walk of the beach and resort centre, this villa is conveniently located and features an attractive pool terrace.
Alongside the pool, you will find a dining area and sun loungers, creating a relaxing outdoor area that you can use all day and into the evening. This area leads via patio doors to the open-plan interior.
Inside, the lounge space has a sofa, two armchairs and a flatscreen TV with satellite channels, as well as a dining table with seating for six. A well-equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, microwave and large fridge freezer. Villa Palm also provides free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower and access to a balcony with seating. A third bedroom has two single beds and a balcony. On the same floor, you’ll find the main bathroom, with another WC downstairs.
Protaras’ many restaurants, bars and amenities are within a short walk of Villa Palm, and it’s easy to reach fantastic beaches like Fig Tree Bay and Green Bay. This region offers water-sports and beautiful areas for nature walks, with the Cape Greco National Park around 10 minutes’ drive away.
The nearby resort of Ayia Napa makes for great excursions, with idyllic Nissi Beach and many family attractions including the huge WaterWorld water-park and the fascinating Thalassa Museum.South-eastern Cyprus is an area that’s well worth discovering. Protaras is just one part of what makes it so special, as with Cape Greco and Ayia Napa nearby, there’s no shortage of amazing scenery and things to do.
Protaras is big on water-sports, with lots of good facilities around many of the beaches. Bars and restaurants line main strip, and there are family-friendly attractions including an aquarium and the Star Leisure fun park with its mini-golf course, dodgems and trampolines.
The area’s beaches are the stuff of legend. There are several along this stretch of coast, with Turtle Bay, Green Bay and Fig Tree Bay among them. Named after its sole fig tree, the latter has been voted one of the best beaches in Europe. Another top-notch beach is found in Ayia Napa, about 15 minutes’ drive away. Check out Nissi Beach when it’s quiet, if you can – its 500m of white sands are stunning.
Nearby Cape Greco is another of the area’s coastal highlights. As well as sea caves and its famed Blue Lagoon, the area is full of attractive countryside which is perfect for hiking. Various routes, such as the Aphrodite Trail, are mapped out to show you the best of Cape Greco and its wildlife.
Ayia Napa’s name may be synonymous with clubbing, but there’s much more to this well-equipped southern resort. It’s also a great place for families, with multiple amusement parks, casual dining eateries and good shopping. There are historic and cultural sights too, including a well-preserved 16th-century monastery, the ancient Makronissos Tombs and the Sculpture Park that sits on the cliffs.
Further afield but very much within reach, there’s plenty of historic interest in Larnaca. Cyprus’ third city is definitely one to see, with the old Turkish Quarter, Archaeological Museum and the landmark Church of Saint Lazarus among some impressive sights. Look out for the Kamares Aqueduct which is quite a sight when its 33 arches are lit up at night.
There are some wonderful places for nature lovers to discover in this part of Cyprus. The temptingly tranquil Salt Lake in Larnaca is known for its bird population, most notably its flamingos, while the Camel Park at Mazotos is certainly worthy of its name with 60 camels and many more species besides.
