Located just moments from the historical hub of Lisbon, Amaral Apartment offers fantastic views of the whole town, stretching all the way to the Tagus River and Sao Jorge Castle!
The apartment is found on the fourth floor of a building with a lift, and you will enjoy a gracious welcome into this enchanting apartment, with a gourmet food basket in the kitchen ready for you to tuck in and settle into your home-from-home! With a wonderful open-plan style, the villa has been designed to ensure free-flowing conversation, memorable time together and a relaxed ambience. We want you to feel at home, comfortable and stylish throughout your stay: that’s why we include elegant details like the classically styled bookcase and its many excellent books for you to choose from!
There are plenty of sofas and chairs throughout the lounge area, stretching towards the dining area, alongside the lovely wall of vast windows and doors which lead to the wrap-around balcony from which a wave of warm, natural light floods, to really liven up the living space. In your fully-equipped kitchen, you will find all the accessories and space required to prepare everything from light snacks to hearty meals!
There are three beautiful bedrooms in total, all on this same floor. The first is a large double room with an en-suite bathroom. The room is decorated in a simple, elegant design, with pleasing colours, traditional furniture and a large bed in the centre. The two twin rooms are similarly styled with an understated simplicity, and share a bathroom. Both bathrooms are marble-lined and totally sleek and glamorous and are stocked with plenty of toiletries for you to enjoy!
Located right at the heart of Lisbon, just ten minutes’ walk from the enchanting historical centre, you can make the most of all the highlights of this totally diverse, dynamic and fascinating city! Slightly away from the hubbub of the historical centre, but within walking distance to the famous Restauradores and Rossio squares, this apartment is a perfect base to enjoy both peace and quiet and the energy of a city centre! The lovely, calming Campo Martires da Patria Park is nearby, as is the River Tagus, both perfect for a gentle morning stroll. The closest underground station, Intendente, is a short walk away, while a supermarket, an ice-cream parlour and many restaurants are all on the doorstep!Amaral Apartment is ideally located to enjoy Portugal’s thriving capital city, with wonderful parks, endless shops and bars and all kinds of restaurants on your doorstep!
Lisbon is known for its lively nightlife, with world-class bars and clubs full of fun-loving locals and tourists alike, where you can enjoy a tipple of the local drinks and meet people from all over the world! And of course, the city has plenty of fascinating history – check out the region ‘Belém’ which is jam-packed with monuments! Famously termed the ‘city of the seven hills’, Lisbon has a picturesque, undulating terrain, providing mesmerising views from across the city!
Portugal itself is a small, fascinating country at the most Western point of mainland Europe. With a vast coastline with the powerful Atlantic Ocean, it is a true paradise for the keen surfer, or indeed even those looking to try it for the first time, with plenty of surfing schools all along the calmer sections of the coast. Of course, it is not only the world-famous waves but also the completely pollution-free water, and the lack of deadly sharks found in warmer areas that put it so firmly on the map as the surfing Mecca of the world.
And even for those less keen on surfing, the beaches of Portugal are well worth a visit for their beautifully clear waters, and almost all have a bar at which you can enjoy a tipple. Other active pursuits include a sublime cycling trip through the breath-taking scenery of Geres, or indeed white-water rafting on the river Douro!
