The Barn is the perfect cosy hideaway for couples wanting to explore the picturesque Devon countryside. Located in the charming village of Cotleigh, a range of amenities can be found in the market town of Honiton, less than a 10-minute car journey away. For those wishing to explore a little further afield, the spectacular East Devon coastline, designated a World Heritage Site, known as the Jurassic Coast is just a short distance away.
The barn conversion has been beautifully designed and boasts the real ‘wow’ factor with its stylish interiors, character features and range of modern amenities. The accommodation is open-plan with a dividing semi-wall complete with a cut out featuring a Bio-ethanol fireplace. The island breakfast bar in the kitchen is the perfect spot to start the day with a warm cup of coffee, making use of the Nespresso machine. For those that manage to tear themselves away from the sights of Devon, the living room comes complete with a variety of the latest amenities, including an Amazon Fire TV stick and Bluetooth speakers perfect for cosy evenings curled up on the sofa. The bedroom and its dream-like super king size bed makes it easy to forget the world, while the bathroom boasts a gorgeous vintage roll top bath tub, rainfall shower and feature washbasin.
Outside, the patio area complete with table and chairs is the perfect place to soak up the tranquil surroundings on a sunny afternoon. Cotleigh is a tiny village at the foot of the Blackdown Hills in the heart of the unspoilt rolling and partly wooded farmland of East Devon. While Cotleigh itself doesn’t have its own pub, many can be found in the surrounding towns and villages. The Barn is just 3 miles to the east of the market town of Honiton, famous for its lace and pottery, a wide range of useful amenities can be found here. It is not only in a fabulous location for exploring the Devon countryside but also the spectacular Jurassic coast, the town of Lyme Regis is just a half an hour car journey away.
