The owners of Case Buca have put much effort into ensuring that guests staying here will fall in love with this house and the area. The renovated farmhouse is situated in a beautiful location in the Niccone valley on the Umbria-Tuscany border.
The family has carefully restored the property and constantly updated it to ensure a traditional Italian atmosphere with modern furnishings. The family lives on the upper floor of the property and is available to help guests with any requests.
The house is split into three apartments but is rented out as a whole unit, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. It comfortably accommodates up to 14 people. Each apartment is self contained, but the kitchen in the largest apartment has been arranged so that everyone in the party can cook and eat together.
The house caters for all your needs, whether you want to sit with a book by the pool, relax inside the house or cook using fruit and vegetables from the property’s own garden. Situated on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, this property is perfectly placed to explore the delights that these two regions have to offer.
Casa Buca sits amid its own extensive, and professionally maintained grounds, elevated above the Niccone Valley, with stunning views over woods and farmland.
The house is 3 minutes from the villages of Lisciano Niccone and Mercatale. There are many shops, 3 restaurants, banks and bank machines, bars, as well as a traditional bakery in both villages.
For guests who are keen to explore the area, Perugia and Assisi are less than an hour away, and Cortona and Lake Trasimeno are less than 30 minutes away.
For art lovers, Rome, Pisa and Florence are all easily reached in a day, and for wine enthusiasts, the beautiful villages of Montefalco and Montalcino are a little over 1 hour away.
