Villa Arcella is a lovely stone-built farmhouse with an attached guesthouse, set in the enchanting Umbrian countryside.
The villa has accommodation for 6 guests and a private swimming pool that is set on a raised terrace in the large garden. The pool and dining terrace both offer stunning views of the rolling Umbrian hills.
This villa has been recently renovated both inside and out. Additions were made on the original medieval walls in order to utilize their beauty in the new house and give a rustic and authentic feel. The spacious interior has been lovingly restored using 19th century oak beams for the ceilings.Villa Arcella is within easy reach of the town of Umbertide and the Tuscan border. The little village of Spedalicchio is only 3 km away and has a food shop and coffee bar. For a wider choice of shopping facilities, Umbertide is about 11 km away.
This is the perfect location from which to explore the area, famed for its cultural and historical attractions such as the towns of Siena, Cortona and Gubbio.
