Villa Fontana Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
A stone farmhouse is seated in the heart of the Chianti wine region, the site of your next villa holiday. Vines creep up the side of this villa in Tuscany, where the well-kept lawns stretch down to the private pool and the countryside beyond. Sitting on the swing on the rustic terrace, you’ll feel the peace of the bucolic life overtake you.
Inside, original details dominate – the stone archway overhead in the living room, the wooden beams keeping watch over the four bedrooms. Arched windows let in light, spilling over classic Tuscan wooden furniture. Though it’s a historic home, the updated kitchen and bathrooms mean added convenience and comfort.
Nearby you’ll find several utterly charming towns – Radda in Chianti (5 km), the former capital of the region, is a walled medieval city that hosts many cultural events. You’ll discover panoramic views on the winding roads over to Castelina in Chianti (6 km), a city known for both wine and olive oil production.
You’ve got access to more well-known treasures too – visit the Il Campo piazza in Siena (24 km) and the world-class museums of Florence (60 km). You’ll not find a better venue for your villa holiday! Beautiful Tuscany attracts visitors for many different reasons. For some, its the fine art. For others, its the extraordinary countryside, and some visit simply to try the wonderful food and wine offered throughout the region.
Villa Fontana is located between Radda in Chianti (5 km) and Castellina in Chianti (6 km), the heart of the Chianti Classico wine production area. Radda has all the facilities, shops and restaurants visitors will require.
Chianti offers a unique landscape with green, gentle hills covered with wide vineyards, olive groves, small villages and characteristic stone buildings. The Chianti region is so beautiful that guests cannot resist taking photograph after photograph as they explore.
This area is also famous for some beautiful, world-famous heritage sites dating back to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance period. Florence (60 km away) should not be missed.
