A traditional farmhouse, the villa exudes rustic elegance – with antique furniture, wood beams, and exposed stone. Each of the four bedrooms and bathrooms has been thoughtfully designed. One of the bedrooms includes a loft that’s perfect for guests with children. For those looking for more privacy, the upstairs suite contains its own kitchen, bathroom, and external entrance.
There are plenty of places to unwind with a glass of wine – from multiple covered terraces, to beside the fireplace upstairs in the cozy lounge or downstairs in the living and dining area, or perhaps in a sun lounger beside the pool. A gorgeous dining table set for 12 is the perfect place to enjoy meals made in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen.
While within walking distance to a delicious local restaurant and pub in Talla, you’ll also have easy access to Florence, Arezzo, and the fabulous Chianti wine region. There’s also plenty to explore in the Casentino – from ancient churches to centuries-old forests. Villa Vigna is situated on Blackbird Hill in the Casentino Valley in the province of Arezzo. Blackbird Hill encompasses an area of over 20 hectares delightfully covered in olive trees and vines and bordered by dry stone walls.
