Have your villa holiday here in the village of Castelmuzio (population: 200). Here you’ll find a close-knit, warm, and welcoming Italian community. It’s a town that time forgot, with city walls and ramparts dating from the 13th century. Castelmuzio’s historic churches and the Museum of Sacred Art offer opportunities to delve into the ancient Etruscan roots of the region.
Tourists don’t usually leave the beaten path from Rome to Florence – here (only 18 km off the main road and 2 hours from Rome) you’re immersed in authentic Tuscan culture. Other wonderful small towns to explore are nearby; within a 30 minute drive you’ll find Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona and Montalcino. Visitors to Tuscany come for many reasons.
