Villa Le Donne is an 18th century farmhouse perched on a hill with gorgeous views of vineyards and olive groves. Beautifully renovated, this gorgeous holiday home is superbly furnished with large bedrooms and comfortable living areas.
With six bedrooms across two levels, the ground floor has two kitchens, two dining rooms, two living rooms and a double bedroom with en-suite. Upstairs is a triple bedroom, three twin bedrooms, a double bedroom and three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a spa bath and two-person sauna.  
Night-lighting makes the pool area a gorgeous spot to relax in the evenings with a bar area for cocktails and socialising. There is also a Jacuzzi with panoramic views and a Finnish sauna.  
The villa is situated less than an hour’s drive from Florence, Pisa, Lucca and the exclusive beaches of Versilia making it the ideal base for exploring Tuscany. 
Visitors to Tuscany come for many reasons. Many come in search of fine art and others to explore the extraordinary countryside. Gourmets and wine buffs descend on Tuscany to enjoy the simple but wonderful cuisine and wine. Walkers enjoy the mountain paths, cyclists the rolling hills, and summer vacationers the sea coast and islands. Students come to learn the beautiful Italian language and culture.
From the Etruscans to the Romans to the Renaissance, Tuscany is possibly the greatest repository of art in the world, from extraordinary paintings and sculptures to frescoes and architectural masterpieces. This captivating region is a hub of Italian life, boasting the finest dining, the finest wines and breathtakingly picturesque scenery.
Montecatini Alto (10 km) is located in the Tuscan hills between Lucca and Florence. A few kilometres away, and easy to reach by bus, by car, or with the lovely old funicular, is the beautiful town of Montecatini Terme. Montecatini Terme is famous for its Art Nouveau spas, its chic shops and a beautiful park. A few kilometres from Montecatini you can also visit:
– Monsummano Terme where you can visit “Grotta Giusti” with its thermal pool, natural cave with mud and other body treatments.- Pistoia is famous for its Renaissance square.- Lucca, a city surrounded by beautiful ancient walls. It is famous for its oval square built on an ancient Roman amphitheatre.- Pisa is of course famous for its leaning tower!- Florence is best known for its museums and Renaissance palaces.- Sangimignano, famous for its medieval Towers.
A few kilometers away are also beautiful scenic medieval villages (not too frequented by tourists!) such as Buggiano, Uzzano, and Vellano e Sorana, many of which have medieval churches and other points of interest. Finally, about 50 km from the villa you can reach the coast and visit Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Cinque Terre.

Lucca (25 km) is a gorgeous fortified city with much to offer in the way of art, culture, incredible foods and stunning scenery. Its long history dates back to Etruscan and Ancient Roman times and, for those interested in Tuscany’s past, the city retains ancient architecture from Lucca’s great Gothic era prior to the Renaissance. Lucca has a unique tourist attraction. The city walls are still completely intact and are now a pedestrian promenade with beautiful trees and parkland, ideal for a stroll while absorbing the enchanting views. Whilst visiting Lucca, there are many must-see attractions including the Roman amphitheatre, the Duomo di San Martino (a Romanesque cathedral dating back to the 14th century) and Piazza Napoleone.
Versilia (45 km) is found in the northern Tuscany region between the Cinquale River and the Lake of Massaciuccoli, made popular due to its beautiful sandy beaches and resorts. Versilia has a particularly pleasant year-round climate due in large part to the Apuan Alps which shelter the area from the elements. Versilia is set up for couples and families alike with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained.
