This newly and beautifully restored old farmhouse and barn is situated in the heart of the Limoges area in the Limousin region, in the picturesque French hamlet of Vergnedonde. Restaurants, a bar and a supermarket can be found in the nearest village only a 10-minute drive away and there is a Michelin star restaurant nearby.
Set within its own private woodland, it boasts its own heated, salt-water swimming pool nestled amidst the mature trees and surrounded by a large poolside terrace. The outdoor dining terrace is perfect for enjoying a relaxing alfresco lunch in the glorious French sunshine, and sampling some of the delicious local produce. 
The property has been renovated into a stunning 4-bedroom and 4-bathroom holiday home, whilst keeping many of the original features such as the stunning beams and carefully restored walls. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom, 3 of which are en-suite and with two of the bedrooms situated on the ground floor, this house suits all needs. 
The living space in the barn is a light, social and relaxing space with the kitchen having great access to the pool and outdoor eating area. With its own self-cleaning system and hard cover for extra peace of mind with children around, a morning swim before breakfast as the sun comes up is the perfect way to start the day. There are two high chairs and a travel cot with soft mattress available for those with young children. 
La Grange offers a luxury escape for anyone wanting to explore the rural landscape of the Limousin with the privacy, comfort and luxury of their own space. Le Dorat and Limoges are just some options making for great day trips out.
From here you can visit the local areas of Le Dorat and Limoges, where you will see the spectacular Cathedral Saint-Etienne de Limoges and botanical gardens, or pick up some beautiful porcelain, a specialty of the area.
On Sunday’s, Limoges holds a market offering a variety of food from fresh fish, meat and vegetables to flowers and delicious pastries. The area is also home to Limousin beef, a firm favourite of food lovers across the globe.
For the more adventurous, take a picnic to nearby Lake Pardoux, which offers a wide range of activities, from water-sports to absailing and mountain biking or simply relax by the beach, or enjoy a lovely lunch in one of their new restaurants.
