The beautiful, contemporary and air-conditioned Maison Chaleureuse can be found on a hilltop in the outskirts of Cavalaire-sur-Mer, less than 3km from the beaches, shops and restaurants of this family friendly town on the Côte d’Azur. 
The four comfortable en suite double bedrooms, each with TV, are split across the two levels of the villa. Dine together on the upper floor in the glossy open plan kitchen diner or eat beneath the stars on the adjacent terrace. Downstairs there is the convenience of another kitchen opening out to the al fresco dining terrace and heated pool – it’s easy to fetch coffee and cake after your swim.
This is the ideal holiday home for kids who will love the playroom with its TV, billiard table and table football and play in the leafy fenced garden with its boules court and table tennis. The less energetic will find plenty of spaces to relax in the shade with a glass of wine.
Cavalaire-sur-Mer is particularly welcoming to families and has the same archetypal pine trees and sparkling blue waters as its more glamorous neighbours. The three kilometres of superb sandy beaches are ideal for a variety of watersports, volleyball, paddling and sandcastles not far from the convenience of a bakery, supermarket, restaurants, bars and even a cinema in town.
Fashionable St Tropez, less than 20km away, is the renowned glitzy port where fishing boats are moored alongside luxurious yachts. Le Lavandou is another popular seaside resort and further along the coast is the naval town of Toulon, set against a dramatic backdrop of mountains where the cable car will shuttle you up Mont Faro.
A ferry trip to the lovely islands of Îles d’Or, with footpaths, vineyards and peaceful swimming spots, provides a day of sanctuary from the bustle of the mainland. Don’t forget to visit some of the idyllic inland Provençal villages such as medieval Grimaud with its nearby golf course, Gassin, Ramatuelle or La Môle which is a wonderful place for walkers.Maison Chaleureuse is located on a hill in a residential area on the outskirts of the beach town and port of Cavalaire-sur-Mer in the fabulous Côte d’Azur, south eastern France.
In the midst of wooded hills between St Tropez and Le Lavandou, the town is particularly welcoming to families and has a coveted Famille Plus designation. Cavalaire may not be as fashionable as some of its coastal neighbours but it has similar archetypal palms trees, glorious sandy beaches and glistening blue seas. As well as a family friendly atmosphere, there is everything you need here including a bakery, grocery, supermarket, cinema, bars and restaurants.
The 3kms of sandy beaches are a paradise for holiday makers and there is a bathing bay and free summer shuttle bus which runs parallel to the beach. Take in the views of the wild Cap Lardier headland in the distance and the Îles d’Or shimmering offshore in the azure sea.
Away from the main town beach, watch the sun rise at Plage d’Héraclée, around 7km away, before climbing over the rocks to Gigaro, a very family orientated beach with restaurants and water sports. Explore further and take the steep walk along the coast to the tranquil natural haven of Plage Brouis, the last beach on the coastal path before arriving at Cap Lardier.
In Cavalaire-sur-Mer there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy. There is a diving centre, sailing school and the chance to canoe, snorkel, windsurf, jet-ski or even go deep sea fishing – away from the water, there is tennis nearby and minigolf a short drive away.
A ferry trip to one of the beautiful islands of Îles d’Or provides a peaceful haven away from the bustle of the coast. Porquerolles has restaurants, shops and walking and cycle tracks for exploring this wonderful island while Port-Cros is the wildest of the three, a protected area away from cars and bikes with only hiking trails, emerald waters and singing cicadas to distract you.
At St Tropez, less than 20km away, fishing boats moor alongside luxurious yachts. In the other direction is Le Lavandou, Hyeres and Toulon, a naval base with a picturesque backdrop of limestone mountains.
