Chateau Tournesol is a 17th Century castle situated in the beautiful region of Gascony, it has been lovingly restored by its owners with all the amenities one needs, let’s just say it’s fit for a king!
The castle will make you feel like you are in another world, set amongst sunflower fields, the atmosphere couldn’t be more tranquil and relaxing.
It lies in the centre of a historical region, only 10km from Nerac, where one can visit the castle of King Henri IV of Navarre. There are also many more activities available for you at the castle such as, horse-riding and hot air balloon rides…
Chateau Tournesol is situated in the region called “Pays d’Albret” which is famously rich in history. In between the Landes and the Gers, the smell of the pine trees mingle with the fragrance of armagnac.
The city of Nerac which is its small capital, is a great starting point to explore the beautiful countryside and nearby Chateaux during your stay.Capacity- Weddings can be held outside on the back terrace in front of the vineyard, in the chateau courtyard or for in one of the salons in the chateau itself.  – Outdoor reception 120+ people, marquee on grounds if needed- Indoor reception up to 50 people- You can have the ceremony onsite in one of the many outdoor spaces or in the a nearby village church
Accommodation- We can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people on site between 2 guest houses and 3 guest rooms.  The guest houses, rooms and grounds are fully equipped with modern amenities.  – The chateau is just 5 minute drive from a larger town with multiple hotels and B&Bs that can accommodate up to 80+ guests.- The site will be 100% privatised for you and your guests for the entire length of your stay.
CateringAn authentic French Wedding reception dinner menus start at 56€ per person.   
This price would include:- Minimum 8 canapés- Food stand- 3-4 course seated meal (1st, main, cheese, dessert)- Coffee, bread, mineral water, linens, cutlery, dishes and service- Menus are seasonal and can be provided upon request
Costs and Other servicesChâteau Wedding Supplement: There is a wedding supplement of 2900€.  This supplement includes use of the properties facilities by outside vendors, tables and chairs for the wedding reception.
Wedding Planning: It is compulsory to use our wedding planning service.  There are different options available from 700€ onwards. Basic service includes making arrangements and coordinating with all wedding vendors and service providers and helping with extra guest accommodation and transport.  
– Live Bands from around 2000€- Photographer from around 1500€- Florist: depending on your floral and decoration needs- Guest shuttle service: on demand- Bridal Hair and Make-up- All other necessary service providers.
