There’s no better way to begin your morning than by gazing over epic natural vistas which you can do every day at Aba Star. The home is a mini paradise tucked away in the lovely Greek countryside with views over mountaintops, the sea and the vivid surrounding greenery.
Outside, there are various seating areas to lounge on including two beanbag loungers on the stone terrace and elegant sun loungers sat beside the pool. Guests will be able to enjoy al fresco meals on the casual dining area for six that overlooks the inviting blue horizon.
The living area benefits from large glass doors that lead out onto the pool area as well as bringing in a huge amount of lovely natural light. Neutral tones and dark greys are used to decorate the villa, creating a sophisticated and contemporary design. Vibrant house flowers and smooth floors add elegance to the home.
A king size bed, a double bed and twins beds can be found across the three bedrooms which is ideal for families of all ages holidaying together. All bedrooms are cosy yet stylish and two of them contain en suites equipped with showers.
During your stay, the villa’s dedicated team will help you with local knowledge and suggestions for day trips and activities as well as nearby beaches and eateries. Aba Star is only 8 km away from Lefkada town where, amongst many other places, you will discover Agios Giannis beach with its sparkling inviting waters. The beach is perfect to visit at any time of the day. Come in the morning for a peaceful and meditative walk in nature, the afternoon to make the most of the hot sunshine and the evening to see sunset takeover the island.
As it rarely gets crowded, Agios Giannis is somewhere you can spend the whole day simply soaking up the sun rays – at times you may even have the entire beach to yourself! Due to the strong winds, this beach is a hotspot for windsurfers and kite surfers, though this doesn’t affect the lovely tranquillity found here.
The picturesque beach is also home to a quaint little stone mill that presents a lovely photo opportunity.
Castle of Agia Maura in Lefkada town is a nearby historical site that is definitely worth seeing. The Venetian castle stands amongst its ruins and certainly makes for a great snap or two. Without any signage, the church’s history is left down to your own imagination, making it an attractive spot to simply meditate.
