The front bedrooms offer uninterrupted views of the turquoise waters of Benji Bay which means you can start each day breathing in the scent of tropical plants while watching the yachts bopping on the water.
Ideally suited for families or groups, the main living space is awash with natural light and includes a neatly arranged dining area so mealtimes can be a sociable affair. The flat-screen TV, and soft furnishings in the lounge will also make you feel right at home. Whitewashed walls and neutral tones create a tranquil ambience but best of all are the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open out onto a covered terrace. Dotted with furniture, it’s the perfect spot for sipping something cool or enjoying a meal al fresco from the (indoor or outdoor) kitchen.

You can reach the city’s capital, St George, in only 20-minutes. Shop for spices at the markets and discover the delights of Grenadian food at the local eateries. The villa is within walking distance to a private-accessed sandy beach, and offers guests use of non-motorised water sport equipment. It’s a 20-minute drive to the city’s capital, St George, which can be easily reached from the villa by public transport or car. This beautiful seaside town with its brightly painted houses and lively harbour has a rich past, and is a must for history enthusiasts. There are several forts (which offer spectacular views) and museums that offer a peek into the island’s history.
There are 45 beaches to choose from on the island but Grand Anse Beach is the most famous. It’s a 3km stretch of sandy, white beach, and the whole family can enjoy snorkelling, kayaking, boat trips and swimming in the crystal clear waters. Numerous bars and restaurants dotted along the beach offer a break from the activities.
Nature-lovers should visit the Grand Etang Forest Reserve, a short drive from St George’s. It’s home to some incredible wildlife and numerous hiking trails. Encounter Mona monkeys, armadillos and mockingbirds as you trek through the rainforest of Seven Sisters Waterfalls.
Food enthusiasts should head to the quaint fishing village of Gouyave. Every Friday the village hosts its famous Gouyave Fish Friday event. Make sure to sample delicious grilled fish, shrimp kebabs and lobster. Beyond the food, it’s a great way to experience local culture and live music.
Affectionately known as Spice Island, if you want to learn more about the island’s rich flavours, head to the Belmont Estate in St Patrick, an hour’s drive from St George. Soak up the smells of turmeric, ginger and nutmeg at this 300-year old plantation. Learn how spices are processed, stroll through the property’s beautiful gardens and afterwards sample some aromatic delights at the Estate’s restaurant.
But if you want to escape Grenada for the day, take the 90-minute ferry journey to Carriacou or Petit Martinique.
