Guests will enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely villa, knowing they are so close to everything that the diverse and vibrant Ibiza Town has to offer. The historic Dalt Vila ancient walled fortress is a treasure trove of narrow, cobbled streets littered with cathedrals, chapels, churches, museums and jasmine adorned balconies. Attractive too is the old port area with its charming cobbles and whitewashed buildings. The swanky Marina Botafoch is a buzzing hive of activity with chic bars and restaurants and boutique shopping. The nightlife is legendary.
Can Bonsai is sumptuous and oozes warmth with its flashes of gold and other jewel-like colours against warm grains of wood and stone-coloured hues. What is lovely about this villa is that every room is different. It is all designer-led but there are different styles, each one impressive and eye-catching. The brightly decorated, spacious living room is open plan and enjoys floor to ceiling windows offering fabulous views to the garden, terrace and surrounding lush countryside. An enormous comfy sofa is in prime position to soak up the views and for relaxation to watch the huge TV. Just behind this is a fabulous dining table, surrounded by modern art. The dazzling contemporary kitchen hosts a whole array of high-end appliances. There is also a useful pantry and guest WC. The huge living room doors open directly to the covered alfresco lounge, dining and grilling terraces. Stairs then lead down to the astonishing pool terrace. The pool has a unique shape and is surrounded by parasols and sun loungers, a perfect place to laze and enjoy the Ibiza sunshine. There is another outdoor lounge area on this level and plenty of places to find some shade. Gorgeous palms fringe the pool making the vistas all the more attractive.
Three of the bedrooms are in the main house. The fabulous master suite boasts a stunning ensuite bathroom, a hammam cabin, 2 dressing rooms and a small, well-equipped gym. What a treat! Bedrooms 2 and 3 have their own elegant, calming styles and share a pristine bathroom. Bedroom 4 is attached to the main villa but has a separate entrance. It has a lovely ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 5 is a separate guest house with a double bedroom, ensuite bathroom, a living room and a small kitchen. This may be of particular interest if you are traveling with grandparents or another couple who may enjoy a little of their own space.
Can Bonsai is a lovely hidden gem, built and designed with great style and warmth.  Ca Na Negreta is just on the outskirts of Ibiza Town. Within 5 minutes you can be in the centre of town with all the action. You are also on the road to the lovely west coast resorts of Santa Eularia and Cala Llonga.
Santa Eulalia is Ibiza’s third largest resort and has a long-established reputation as the island’s gastronomic and cultural centre. It boasts an elegant yacht harbour, a selection of outstanding art galleries and a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the beach. You can walk to Mariner’s Beach where the only river in the Balaerics runs into the sea. From Mariner’s Beach you can take a pretty, peaceful river walk meandering up to the Roman bridge. Midway, a footbridge spanning the river gives onto another pretty walkway leading to the tiny beach of Calo de S’Alga. Santa Eulalia is quieter than Ibiza Town. The fascinating, fortified 16th century church of Puig de Missa presides over the town from a hill above. It is beautifully lit at night.
Cala Llonga is a complete mini-resort with a fabulous wide sandy beach flanked by pine-clad hills. There is a playground for children and a mini-amusement park with bumper cars, trampolines and other fun activities. There is a wonderful market on Thursday evenings during the summer season with stalls selling fashion, accessories, jewellery and souvenirs.
Aside from the incredible nightlife, Ibiza is also known for its holistic spa and relaxation scene. There are many spas offering yoga, pilates, meditation and beauty and wellbeing spa packages. Parc Natural de Ses Salines is a spectacular, peaceful day trip. It’s wetlands are home to 210 species of birds. The sparkling salt pans and breathtaking sandy beaches are a sight to see.
