It is far removed from the electric towns of Ibiza Town and San Antonio. The beauty and tranquillity of this old village very much remain.  Can Silvestre is very private and secluded with ancient trees clinging to the hillside all around. Arriving through private gates, there are five parking spaces. On this level, you will be greeted with the fitness room and its ensuite bathroom and terrace. You access the villa on the second level, which is home to 4 of the five outstanding bedrooms and the laundry room. The design and decor of this impeccable villa is deliberately minimalist. It is impossible to deny the serenity and simple beauty when confronted with its sheer elegance and fabulous materials. The colour accents are gorgeous and perfectly placed to make you feel joyful. The detailed woodwork of the doors and striking artwork do their magic. The bathrooms are all exquisite in their stone and neutral hues. Three of the bedrooms boast kingsize beds, and the other has twin beds. One of the kings shares a bathroom with the twin bedroom. The twin boasts a private terrace with fabulous sea views. The remaining two king bedrooms on this level enjoy immaculate ensuite bathrooms, one with a state-of-the-art shower and the other with bath and shower.  The soothing and inviting master bedroom suite is on the third level. It boasts a kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower. Also on the third floor are the living spaces. The vast contemporary kitchen area offers a sublime floating kitchen island, superb built-in cupboards handcrafted from 200-year-old Canadian Barnwood and every device you can imagine to facilitate your culinary adventures. The timeless aesthetic of these living spaces is fabulous. The tucked-away lounge area features stylish bench seating decorated with fabulous colourful cushions, a large TV, fireplace and a Trompe l’eoil window view of the valley below. The minimalist seating arrangements accentuate the architectural features of this lovely room. The living spaces lead to a gorgeous shaded terrace with a generous chill-out area and your first offering of alfresco dining.  The masterpiece of this amazing villa is the rooftop. There are outdoor stairs at the back of the villa leading to paradise! The stunning swimming pool is surrounded by luxurious loungers and a fantastic bar and outdoor kitchen, complete with Smeg fridge. You can prepare meals using the kitchen and barbecue and dine alfresco against a divine Mediterranean sunset backdrop. You can relax with your holiday read in the chill-out corner or move to one of the entertainment and sports platforms nestled higher up the hillside. There are a 50 sqm outdoor fitness and workout area and a huge yoga platform, all framed by ancient trees and offering sensational views to the island of Formentera. The outdoor shower is perfect for cooling off. You will not want to leave this rooftop!The tiny hamlet of Es Cubells is Ibiza’s southernmost village. Its special clifftop location affords this village a special unique charm and the most spectacular sea views. There are some gorgeous, hidden beaches close by, including Cala des Cubells, Ses Boques and Cala Llentrisca.  A little further away the beaches of Es Torrent, Porroig and Cala Jondal are also very popular and attractive. The laid-back, rustic beachside dining at Ses Boques should not be missed. You will adore the delicious rice dishes, ‘caldereta de langosta’ (lobster stew) and fresh fish while admiring the far-reaching, glistening sea views.
From this fabulous location, it is very easy to visit the wonderful San Jose and its colourful ecological food and craft market. It takes place on Saturday mornings from mid-June to mid-October with roughly 20 stalls offering local and organic fruit and vegetable produce, home-made bread and pastries, artwork and handicrafts. There are impressive restaurants, shops and bars in the town. Not too far away is Port d’es Torrent, one of Ibiza’s hidden gems. It is tranquil, beautiful and blessed with calm turquoise waters and perfect fine sands.
Ibiza’s holistic spa and relaxation scene are renowned. Aside from some yoga sessions on the platform in the trees at the villa, you can visit some gorgeous spas which offer yoga, pilates and meditation as well as every beauty or therapeutic body treatment imaginable. Pure Seven at Cala Conta is excellent and not far to go. Others are Hacienda Na Xamena at Puerto de San Miguel, Aguas de Ibiza at Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Gran Hotel in Ibiza Town, Insoltel Fenicia Prestige at Santa Eulalia and Atzaro at San Lorenzo.  The other side of Porroig is the renowned and fashionable Cala Jondal Beach. Surrounded by pines and jagged cliffs, it is a top pick for luxury yacht owners who are picked up by water taxi by the upmarket beach clubs. The glam and glitzy Blue Marlin is the undisputed king of Ibiza’s beach club scene. It serves delicious food, boasts deluxe lounge areas, and you can party until 4 am to the sounds of the resident DJ’s.
