With fragrant pine trees and lavender framing its gorgeous plot, Villa Segal is a secluded haven nestled in the countryside, 1500m from the fashionable Cala Jondal Beach on the south coast of Ibiza. This lovely villa boasts four spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests and is ideal for a group of friends or a large family. With several VIP beach clubs, including the famous Blue Marlin Beach Club, Cala Jondal Beach is one of the trendiest on the island, popular with the rich and famous. Some arrive in flash cars and others in luxury yachts where they are picked up by water taxi by these prestigious clubs. The stretch of coast between Es Cubells and Porroig is known as ‘the golden mile’ for its beauty and stunning views. Villa Segall’s gardens are absolutely stunning. With lush lawns and fabulous ancient trees, there is a wonderful woodland vibe. The 10m x 4.5m pool is surrounded by a wooden deck with deluxe loungers and parasols. The fragrant pines and romantic canopies offer dappled shade for those not wanting to soak up the Ibizan sunshine. There is a shaded wooden pergola with alfresco dining, which is just a short distance from the lovely summer kitchen and barbecue area. The villa’s terracotta terrace is covered and also offers rustic alfresco dining and a fabulous outdoor lounge. The light and airy living room are very comfortable with traditional furnishings. It leads to the open plan kitchen and dining area, which is modern and very sleek. Apple TV and Bose sound systems are supplied for your enjoyment. The accommodation is all on one level. The bedrooms are all doubles and are of neutral and calming white, grey and taupe shades. Two of the bedrooms boast kingsize beds and ensuite shower bedrooms. The other two bedrooms have double beds and share a shower room. All of the bathrooms are modern and very well maintained. The bedrooms all have chairs or sofas for your relaxation and are extremely well furnished. Villa Segal is relaxing, comfortable and very spacious. The gardens are beautiful, and you will soon feel far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!Cala Jondal Beach is a delight. It is beautiful and very fashionable. Surrounded by pines and jagged cliffs, it is a top pick for luxury boat owners. The beach is part white pebbles and part sand. There are beach clubs, restaurants, bars, lounges, parasols, showers, massage, boutiques and pedalos. The glam and glitzy Blue Marlin is the undisputed king of Ibiza’s beach club scene. It serves delicious food, offers deluxe lounge areas, and you can party until 4 am to the sounds of the resident DJ’s. Around sunset, you will start to admire the fashion show of the who’s who and the jet-set party will start on the terrace. There is a soundproofed mini-club where the party carries on until the early hours. Not far away, San Jose is a charming village with a wonderful selection of restaurants and shops. It is in the foothills of Sa Talaia, the highest mountain on the island. The Saturday morning market is very popular. You will find artists selling paintings, ceramics and sculptures as well as stalls selling fresh local produce and baked items. San Agustin is one of the prettiest villages on Ibiza. It is almost untouched by modern tourism. The pretty whitewashed church and tiny neighbourhood bar are lovely. From the church square, you can enjoy fabulous views of the San Jose hills and lush open countryside. Off the west coast, the rocky island of Es Vedra stands 400m high, opposite the beach of Cala d’Hort. It is shrouded in myths and legends, the most popular being that is it the third most magnetic spot on earth. Many believe that the island is possessed of positive healing and creatively-inspiring energy. There are some excellent shopping opportunities in Ibiza. Ibiza Town has some beautiful boutiques and larger stores. The markets on the island are very popular. There are various hippy markets, the most famous being Punta Arabi Hippy Market in Es Cana. The Las Dalias Hippy Market in San Carlos also takes place several times a week, either in the day or at night time. There are other markets including the Forada market, the ecological food and craft market at San Jose, the Cala Llonga market, the San Rafael artisan market, the San Miguel artisan market and the Sant Jordi flea market. Stalls at these markets sell hand-made clothing, jewellery, souvenirs, ceramics, handicrafts and fresh produce.
