Villa Verdi is a grand stone farmhouse sitting in the wooded Appenine hills 700 meters above sea level, between the regions of Marche and Umbria. The faithful renovation of this property has created an enchanting country holiday home with all the necessary amenities, without changing the original features or detracting from the character of the house.
With rooms set across multiple levels that integrate with the gradient of the hillside, Villa Verdi offers a breath-taking view of the evergreen woodlands that spread across the valley below. With space to accommodate up to 12 people, the house is ideal for a large group looking for an escape in which they can immerse themselves in nature.
After a day of exploring the tranquil countryside or splashing about in the private pool (situated just a few metres below the house), guests can come together over dinner in the spacious dining room, or huddle round the 15th century fire place. Under wood beam ceilings and within thick stone walls there is a true connection to nature in this house, from its secluded location to the original foundations of the house. There are countless possibilities offered by woods, trails, lakes and streams in the vicinity of the villa, whilst still located in an area not far from the Marche Umbria and Emilia Romagna.
In fact, in a short time , you can leave behind the natural wonders of the area to get to places of great historical and cultural interest such as the cities of Montefeltro, Urbino 45Km, Gubbio 40Km, Assisi 90Km, Perugia 80Km and other places of great tourist fame such as The Frasassi.
Do not forget you can also enjoy the small villages and towns in this part of the Marches, where visitors will have the opportunity to discover small masterpieces of art and architecture. There are many little known villages and fascinating traditions to be discovered through encounters with the local culture and the hospitable residents of the area.
For those who like to excercise and keep active while on holiday there is plenty on offer, including football and tennis 4km away in Serravalle di carda, Skiing in Monte nerone just 25km away, and mountain bike trails laced throughout the country surrounding the house.
