Bumper’s Nest was designed by noted architect Kasimir Korybut in 1995 and boasts a huge veranda, with attractive blue and white furnishings and steps leading poolside. The villas 2015 renovation has made the home one of the most elegant at The Tryall Club. The 1,400 square foot veranda is an idyllic space to take in the beauty of Jamaica’s nature and hot, sunny climate.
While spending days outside on the veranda, guests can make use of the villa’s excellent facilities, including the outdoor wet bar and shower, and a small powder room. There is also the opportunity to play games on the villa’s lawn with croquet, golf and soccer equipment available.
The inside of the holiday home benefits from natural cut stone floors and beautiful fine artworks. During the villa’s 2015 renovation, a separate cottage was built, which provides an additional two bedrooms as well as a fitness room and an outdoor hot tub. Guests will be pleased to discover that each bedroom comes complete with a television, remote control air conditioning and telephone with intercom to the other bedrooms. Here, you will unwind in a world of your own while cooling off from the beaming sunshine, and indulging in a restful night’s sleep. While staying at Bumper’s Nest, guests will benefit from The Tryall Club membership. The membership includes access to a private beach as well as tennis, gym and pool facilities. Guests will be delighted with the range of activities that are available at the club. Watersports, rafting, cruises and swimming with dolphins can all be arranged here. When you’re completely tired out, why not try going for a light jog across the club’s 2,200 acres of land, doing a spot of yoga on the gym’s deck, or enjoying a massage at the in-house beauty salon.
Just a 22-minute drive away lies the stunning and renowned Doctor’s Cave Beach. This glistening beach received its name by being declared as having curative powers in the water. During the 1920s, famous British Osteopath Sir Herbert Barker stated that by bathing at this beach sick people could be restored to good health. Since then the location has become a must-visit for travellers from the all over the world. The picturesque white powdery sands lie perfectly against the clear blue sea. You may even spot some natives, look out for Nemo, Dory and Marlin fish!
Doctor’s Cave Beach is ideal for a full day out as it contains the lively Sand Restaurant and Bar which is a great spot for music, drinks, food and best of all, relaxation in the midst of paradise.
