Montego House’s garden boasts ample indigenous trees and beautiful plants which are part of the wider surrounding nature. The outdoor private pool comes complete with a slide and a quaint little hut beside it, equipped with two sun loungers. A jacuzzi sits right beside the pool and can easily seat up to fifteen adults. The garden provides a beautiful pathway which when walked on, will feel as if you are reaching closer and closer to being beside the exotic green mountains.
The veranda is a tastefully designed space where breakfasts, lunches and dinners can be enjoyed. Here, you can get lost in your surroundings for hours, blissfully listening to the birds’ chirp and the sea waves crashing in the distance. There is also seating for two on a separate patio, where you will feel even closer to the mountain tops. The romantic spot is ideal for one on one dinners beneath the moon.
You will feel especially connected to nature during your stay here as all five of the bedrooms open out onto the terrace and lawn. Morning meditation and evening star gazing will be how you want to start and end your days. The bedrooms benefit from bold splashes of colour, representative of the sunny tropical island’s vibrant and loud culture. Nature can also be appreciated from the inside of the villa with attractive house flowers placed throughout.Even if you’re a golf rookie, Half Moon’s acclaimed championship golf course is only 5-minutes away and will provide one of the best golfing experiences that you’ve ever had. The course is renowned as one of the island’s greatest championship golf courses and was designed by legendary American golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. The White Witch and Cinnamon Hill golf courses are also only five minutes away.
You can’t stay at Montego House without venturing into Montego Bay. While there, Chukka Caribbean Adventures has plenty of thrilling adventures available. A canopy tour will take you through the treetops of Jamaica’s tropical rainforests as you view the island’s stunning nature from a bird’s eye view. Guided by an expert, you will be able to see the land’s fascinating landscapes up close while being surrounded by greenery. Some notable points visited on the tour include the Great River and a 150-year-old dam, which will be seen as you travel at up to 35 mph.
While you’re in Montego Bay, the city’s craft market is definitely worth a visit. The market is not only a craft market, but a beautiful hub of culture with colourful street vendors selling exquisite handcrafted gifts that truly show off the country’s craftsmanship.
