Villa Discovery is a substantial five-bedroom beachfront villa sharing the same delightful waterfront site on the clear waters of Discovery Bay.
Upon entering Villa Discovery, you will be greeted by a delightful open plan living and dining area boasting plenty of space and comfy furniture to lounge on. The area is homely yet stylish and is tastefully enhanced by vibrant wall art and tropical house plants. Taking a morning stroll in the garden after a tasty breakfast is effortless as numerous doors from the living area lead out onto the garden. On the ground floor guests will find a King and Queen bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The other three bedrooms can be found on the first floor and two of which have balconies attached. All of the bedrooms benefit from calming neutral tones complemented by hints of fun tropical colour. These rooms have large windows that emphasise light and provide peaceful views of the surroundings.
In the morning, enjoy cooking up breakfast whilst enjoying the fabulous views of the lawn area that tumbles onto a beach. Whilst enjoying your meals outdoors, you will see that beyond the lawn and private swimming pools is a private sugary white sand beach with two thatched roof umbrellas for shade. Interiors have been designed for put-your-feet-up comfort. The feeling is an at-home, informal, easy life style. The cooks will plan torchlight beach parties with chicken, chops, steaks, lobster or fresh fish served sizzling from the outdoor grill. There is another villa that shares areas of the lawn, beach, volleyball & badminton area and seaside gazebo. There is a small seating area on the beach and sun loungers so that you don’t miss out on any of those sun rays.
The villa has a stunning and sizeable veranda equipped with attractive white and light turquoise furniture, as well as an outdoor barbecue and picnic table. There is no reason not to enjoy a sunny ‘day out’ right on your doorstep. For guests’ further pleasure, kayaks are complimentary at Villa Discovery! Other water toys include a swim-up deck and floating bar and there’s even more water sports available just a few minutes’ drive from Villa Discovery.
In lively Ocho Rios 30 minutes from Villa Discovery are night life, excellent restaurants, shops, open-air craft markets, super clubs where guests may purchase day passes, more water sports, Prospect Plantation Great House, rafting on the Martha Brae, jitney tours of a working plantation and dramatic Dunn’s River Falls.Villa Discovery is located on the beach of Discovery Bay which boasts beautiful sands and even better views. Just 30-minutes away by car, you’ll discover the lively area of Ocho Rios.
Ocho Rios Bay Beach is a wonderful nearby beach with clear water that allows you to see your feet as you step into the shallow start of the sea. Because of this, swimming, scuba diving and snorkelling are all popular activities at this beach. The beach is kept in excellent condition through regular cleaning by the staff, who are always on hand for any information that you may need. If you want to enjoy the tranquil peace and quiet of this beach visit during the weekdays and rent a sun lounger. If you want some entertainment, however, you won’t want to miss the music, games and parties held here over the weekends.
A half an hour drive away lies the famous Dunn’s River Falls & Park. Dunn’s River is a waterfall near Ocho Rios and has become a large tourist attraction. You don’t have to climb the falls, you can simply just bask in the natural surrounding beauty, but if you do, you’re in for an adventure.
Climbing across the falls is a mesmerising experience. You will be drenched but it will be worth it to see the spectacular views and scenery from up high.
