This beautiful 1-bedroom villa is located on a luxury resort on the northeast coast of Koh Samui. Villa Gawain is ideal for a romantic getaway for two but can accommodate up to four if required. Among its facilities are a private outdoor terrace and its own pool, offering plenty of opportunities to relax in the sun.
Guests at this villa can enjoy a variety of resort facilities – you have a professional spa offering a range of treatments, a fitness centre and a swimming pool with a swim-up bar. There is also an oceanfront restaurant which offers all-day dining including fresh-from-the-oven pizzas.
Your accommodation features a secluded terrace with a large day bed and seating area, right beside your private 8m pool. The resort is just a short walk from the beach too.
The interior is made for blissful relaxation. You have a sumptuous king-size bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, as well as a desk area and wall-mounted TV. Large patio doors take you out to the terrace in seconds.
Separated from the bedroom area is a wonderfully calming bathroom with multiple large mirrors, double sinks shower and a decadent free-standing bathtub. Your bathrobes, toiletries and towels are all supplied – all you need to do is enjoy.
The villa comes with many other features too, including air-conditioning, a safe, telephone and complimentary Wi-Fi, while blackout curtains add an extra element of privacy when you need it.
Koh Samui is made for exploring, and there is plenty to see within a 10-minute drive, including the island’s largest town, Chaweng, and the iconic Big Buddha which stands some 12 metres high. A naturally beautiful island, you can visit landmark sights like the Namuang Waterfall, go snorkelling or chill out on a variety of gorgeous beaches. Nightlife and dining opportunities are plentiful too, with nearby Chaweng offering something for every taste.The largest island of the Chumphon Archipelago in southern Thailand, Koh Samui is both beautiful and diverse. With most sights around the island accessible within an hour, it’s small enough to keep everything within reach but large enough to offer impressive dining and entertainment options, gorgeous beaches and plenty of notable attractions.
Many visit Koh Samui for the countless beautiful beaches which can be found around the island. Some are attached to larger towns and tend to be busier, while others – especially to the south and east – are quieter and lesser-known. Whether it’s small sandy beaches or rocky bays, you can usually find somewhere peaceful. On the north coast, Bophut is a charming choice, known for its Fisherman’s Village. The name is a historical reference – all the seafarers are now gone – but you will still find plenty there to enjoy, with the old wooden shopfronts and collapsed pier hinting at its past.
The island’s largest town, Chaweng, is further down the eastern coast. It’s here that you will find Koh Samui’s most exuberant nightlife, centred around Soi Green Mango, a strip of clubs, bars and the like which should provide a memorable and lively night out. If that doesn’t appeal, you could even catch a bout of Muay Thai boxing at the town’s Phetch Buncha Stadium.
A 12-metre high golden buddha sits on the northeast coast of the island and serves as the island’s big (in every sense) attraction. Aside from Big Buddha, who is an impressive sight, you have natural wonders like the Namuang Waterfall and the pristine islands of the Angthong National Marine Park waiting for you, and a zoo and aquarium with sharks, tigers and parrots, among other inhabitants.
Those who want to get really active can try the Sky Fox treetop cable ride, go sea kayaking or hit the go-kart track to the west of Bophut, while traditional spas and cooking classes teaching the wonders of Thai cuisine are less intense but just as enjoyable.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
