The villa consists of a luxury master bedroom with a pristine ensuite bathroom, a spacious living and dining space with a full kitchen plus a separate building within the courtyard with two extra bedrooms and bathroom which join together with a walkway. The courtyard is completely private on a beautiful, landscaped plot.

Kanda Pool Villas Resort is very smart and attractive. The grounds are landscaped and brimming with swaying palms and lush planting. The resort’s Rockpool bar and restaurant are watersides and perfect for early evening cocktails watching the sunset and for dining. They serve delicious food all day. The resort also boasts a luxurious spa offering indulgent treatments, a modern, well-equipped gym, complimentary non-motorised watersports from the gorgeous beach and a large range of additional services. 

Villa Muang is decorated in traditional Thai style featuring dark wood furniture, excellent silks and linens and striking art. It is very attractive and immaculate. All on one level, the buildings surround the gorgeous courtyard. The impressive spacious master suite boasts a magnificent four-poster bed and a fabulous ensuite bathroom with a rain shower and a large bath. The second and third bedrooms are across the courtyard, both with excellent ensuite bathrooms. 

The refined open plan living and dining area are between the master bedroom and the other two. It is elegant with a calming ambience. The full, smart kitchen is perfect. The whole courtyard is completely private and boasts a deluxe alfresco lounge and dining furniture, sun loungers, a canopied day bed, an excellent private swimming pool and gorgeous, luscious planting. Bophut is situated on the north-east coast of Koh Samui. Kanda Pool Villas Resort is not far at all from the airport, the famous Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, a very colourful, busy and active Buddhist temple. Also very close is the upmarket Cheong Mon, a charming family-friendly village with a series of glorious sandy bays on the tip of the island. It retains its understated charm and is fairly quiet with a lovely selection of bars and restaurants and stunning views. 

Cheweng is south of the resort and is Koh Samui’s busiest and biggest town. It also has one of the most fabulous beaches. From simple beach huts to sophisticated, chic cocktails bars and night clubs, Cheweng’s nightlife is streets ahead of anywhere else on the island. The main Green Mango strip is full of revellers each night, alternating between the girly bars, dance bars and pubs. The impressive white sandy beach is 6km long. Central Festival Samui sits just a few metres away from the beach. It is the largest shopping mall on the island. There is a vast range of shopping in Cheweng and fantastic restaurants. You will find many national cuisines and different styles and settings, from simple beachside dining to hillside, opulent settings. 

The famous Fisherman’s Village is situated in the centre of Bophut Beach. It is an atmospheric warren of narrow roads lined with old wooden Chinese shop-houses and offers plenty of street food. You should visit the fantastic Friday Bophut Walking Street night market for clothes and trinkets to take home.

You are likely to fly straight over the top of Big Buddha on your way into Koh Samui. It is the most famous landmark on Koh Samui, but you must remember to dress appropriately when visiting. Signs tell you when to take your shoes off so you can’t get it wrong. Big Budda is 12 metres tall and very intricate when you get up close. Located inside the grounds of the Wat Phra Yai Temple, the golden Buddha was built in 1972. It is good to visit the Buddha at sunset; otherwise, you should go early as it is very hot.
