Culinary delights await at this pretty cottage in Languedoc, set within the grounds of a gorgeous château. You’ll stay in Bâtiment Ouest (the Western Building), here guests have access to orchards, gardens, and the shared swimming pool. Stroll through the hedge maze, pick fruit from the tree, then return to your rustic whitewashed country home. If the night is chilly, light a fire in the wood-burning fireplace – this is cottage holiday perfection.The on-site concierge can help arrange anything from spa sessions to catering to a wine tour. Foodies will discover many delights here, starting with the complimentary three-course meal on your first night. On Saturday, head to Revel Market where you can savour the local bounty. And of course, there’s no shorter farm-to-table distance than that travelled by the vegetables in the château garden!The countryside near this holiday cottage is bursting with outdoor activities (you could easily cycle part of the Tour de France route.) The nearest town is Sorèze (15 minute drive), a precious medieval town where you’ll find several shops and restaurants in addition to the Benedictine abbey. Wine touring is just an hour away in the Languedoc-Roussillon region – a treat for any oenophile. 
Soreze is 15 minutes away, Albi and Toulouse are 50 minutes away, and Carcassonne is 1 hour away, so there is a great diversity of things to see and discover.
Indulge your senses at the local markets (our closest is the renowned Revel Market). A range of activities are available, including tennis, paragliding at Dourgne, sailing on the famous Lac St Féréol, trips on Pierre Paul Riquet’s Canal de Midi and cycling on the route used by the “tour de France”.
Cathar history surrounds the chateau – the main sites can be explored within a short drive from the property. On the gastronomic side, specialty cooking workshops for groups, or private lessons can be organized.
During your stay you should check out the numerous vide greniers, the various music festivals and the fêtes de villages. You can also enjoy a spa, a massage, or your own personal yoga instruction.- Once weekly linen change.
