Le Chateau de Saint Louis is located in the most southern part of the Loire Valley in the region of Poitou-Charentes between the cities of Parthenay and Thouars.
The castle is a 3-hour drive from Paris. By high-speed TGV train from Paris the travel time is 1.5 hours to Poitiers, which is a 45-minute drive to the castle.A continental breakfast is served upon request in the dining room for €15 per person per day (eggs and bacon are available for €5). Also, the Chateau will gladly provide you with dinner served in the dining room for €75 per person and a half bottle of red Chinon wine per person. Aperitifs and coffees are additional. There are plenty of fantastic local restaurants.
