Found in unspoilt Le Marche, Villa Sibilla is an opulent home sitting high above San Ruffino Lake at the edge of Mount Sibillini National Park. The villa’s position provides spectacular panoramic views across the Tenna Valley with the dramatic Sibillini mountain range and medieval hilltop town of Monte San Martino in the distance. 
Accommodating eight adults the villa is immaculately decorated with travertine floors and dark hardwood coming together to create a stylish minimalist space. Every antique and piece of original art are items the owner has collected from her adventures abroad. 
The house is spread out over three graduating levels each opening out on to its own terrace or portico the interior connecting seamlessly with the outdoor environment. Upstairs, the beautiful, open-plan penthouse has a wet room and sunken Roman-style bath. There are three further bedrooms, two with en-suites and one separate bathroom. Additional children’s beds are available on request as well as a luxury baby kit which includes a cot, beautiful wicker Moses basket on rocking stand, battery operated swing chair, baby bath, sterilizer, linen and toys.
There are extensive living and entertaining areas both inside and outside. Every detail is given great importance and finishes such as mood lighting and nighttime air-conditioning in the penthouse are available. This top floor has been meticulously designed to maximise the light and views from the villa’s enviable position.
The property sits on 15 acres of private woodlands with a small vineyard and an abundance of mature fruit and nut trees close to the villa. The garden is beautifully landscaped with jasmine, lavender, rose, sage and thyme perfuming the air. A large 6 x 12 m floodlit swimming pool is perfectly placed for taking in the breath-taking scenery.

Located on the edge of Mount Sibillini National Park, in Le Marche, the area is wild and beautiful with plenty of hiking trails. Flora and fauna abound with deer often caught ambling across the property. Below the villa at San Ruffino Lake there is a company called “Dimensione Natura who offer horse riding lessons, canoeing, kayaking and a range of health & beauty treatments.
The villa is in an ideal location for exploring the many medieval hilltop towns nearby, brimming with Renaissance art and architecture. Throughout the summer months there are always plenty of food and wine festivals hosted in the surrounding villages. 
The picturesque town of Amandola is five-minutes down the road with a full range of facilities: supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, petrol stations, pharmacies and even a small hospital with an emergency department. 
Ascoli Piceno is a thirty minute drive and is a true highlight of southern Marche, nicknamed the “city of travertine” as most of the buildings are constructed from the pale limestone. 
There is a twice daily coach service to Rome from Amandola.
The beach resorts of the Adriatic coast are under an hour’s drive, and there is a golf course forty-five minutes from the villa.
Ancona airport is 100 km away and Pescara is 145 km away. Both are served by Ryan air.
