Golf lovers will be in awe of the nearby courses at Quinta da Marinha, Penha Longa and Oitavos. Sintra and its Natural Park is an extremely prestigious location brimming with lush pine forests, extravagant fairytale palaces, opulent mansions and the ruins of an ancient castle. Such an amazing location!
Villa Beretta is the perfect place to spend quality time with your family or friends. It offers superb social spaces inside and out. Across all three levels, this villa overflows with space, stylish interior design, sumptuous furnishings and sophistication.
The lower ground floor is home to a fantastic open plan games and relaxation room. Nestling on quality sofas, you can enjoy the amazing home cinema with amplifier surround sound. The space is beautiful with gorgeous wallpaper and a calm, neutral colour scheme. For further entertainment there is a pool table, table football, table tennis and darts. It is also ideal for a conference room. Also on the ground floor are two fabulous bedroom suites which open to the main terrace and enjoy double beds and delightful ensuite bathrooms featuring baths with showers over them. There are also bunkbeds ideal for children and two single beds that can be put together as a double bed on request. The bedrooms in this wonderful villa open to cute terraces or balconies, all beautifully furnished and perfect for your morning cup of coffee or a drink while you are getting ready for the evening.
The main living spaces can be found on the ground floor. Each space is the height of elegance with fabulous cool tones throughout and exquisite lounge areas. As you wander around you think you have arrived at the best space only to find another marvel next to it. The furnishings are tasteful and simply stunning. The main living area boasts an incredible U-shaped sofa for 10 guests, a 65 in smart television and a Harman Kardon soundbar. The dining area is sophisticated and drowned in light from doors and windows all around. It features a very large extendable dining table, a sensational wooden floor, a fabulous light fitting over the table and lovely soft furnishings. The kitchen is stunning with a huge range of quality cupboards and appliances and well as a large central island where guests can keep the chef company. The bright red colour pops are a lovely feature. The villa also enjoys a laundry room and a library/working space should you need to combine a little work with your holiday. One bedroom suite is located on the ground floor with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. Huge doors open from many of the rooms to a sensational terrace which overlooks the swimming pool and offers fantastic panoramic views of the Sintra Mountains. The terrace enjoys alfresco dining and an impressive lounge area. Steps take you down to the pool and further outdoor lounge areas.
The first floor is home to the phenomenal master suite with its feature fireplace, glorious ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, jacuzzi, walk-in closet and private furnished balcony. There are four further bedrooms, all exquisitely adorned with stunning soft furnishings and gorgeous art work. They are comprised of two double bedrooms, a twin room where the single beds can be put together as a double and a bunk bed room. There are two luxurious family bathrooms with baths and showers. The terrace boasts comfortable lounge seating for 6 guests as well as breathtaking views.
The exterior of Villa Beretta is extensive and just as phenomenal as the interior. The outstanding 14m x 4m swimming pool is surrounded by a gorgeous sunbathing terrace, a wonderful invitation to laze under the glorious Portuguese sunshine. The salt water pool is equipped with water polo goals, dive rings, inflatables and an automatic cover. The terrace is brimming with deluxe loungers, hammocks and a beautiful day bed. There are two astounding lounge areas, one sunken around a modern fire pit and another perfect for pre-dinner drinks watching the sun go down over the mountains. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed using the top-notch villa barbecue. To perfect this luxury, guests can enjoy the romantic jacuzzi under a lovely canopy and with it mood lighting, combination of power jets and awesome views of the mountains. There is even a table for your wine or champagne cooler and glasses! The villa’s guest house enjoys a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a twin as well as a bathroom.

The remarkable Villa Beretta is located 7km from Sintra, 6.8km from the glorious Praia Grande Beach, 7.5km from the wild, natural beach of Praia das Macas and 19.5km from the surfer’s paradise beach of Guincho. The very lovely and bustling Cascais is 23.5km away and Lisbon 35km. The villa’s location is marvellous with stunning views of Sintra’s mountains.
Sintra is brimming with fascinating, historic buildings and charming, narrow lanes filled with quaint restaurants and cafes. Visitors enjoy colourful, extravagant palaces, opulent mansions and the ruins of an ancient castle within the lush pine forests. Sintra’s Pena Palace is one of the finest tourist attractions in Portugal and exemplifies the 19th century Romanticism style of architecture. There is an alluring mix of vivid painted terraces, mythological statues and decorative battlements, all in the lush Parque de Pena forest. The palace is always very busy so you may want to pre-book tickets.
The beaches of the Lisbon Coast are spectacular with huge expanses of sand. Between Guincho to Praia das Macas there are some beautiful, wild conditions with the beaches becoming more sheltered towards Estoril. Praia da Adraga Beach offers stunning scenery of dramatic cliffs, jagged rocks and golden sand. The famous Praia do Guincho combines intense surfing with dramatic, natural scenery. Guincho is situated on the western edge of the Serra da Sintra National Park, protecting the fabulous beach from tourist development. The list of Lisbon Coast beaches is endless, some family friendly and others ready for thrill-seekers wanting to surf the pounding waves.
Cascais is 23.5km from Villa Beretta. It is very cosmospolitan with an interesting history. In the past, Cascais was the summer retreat of the Portuguese nobility. Today it is an elegant fusion of its fabulous heritage and modern tourism. Within the narrow, cobbled streets of the historic centre are museums, an imposing fort, lavish villas, charming shops, cute waterside cafes and restaurants. The marina is very attractive. A short train ride can take you into the centre of Lisbon or to one of the lovely beaches along the coast.
Golf fans will be delighted with the location of Villa Beretta. Quinta da Marinha is set amongst beautiful pine trees and stretches down to Guincho Beach. It enjoys magical scenery with its hole number 13 descending to the sea. Definitely an Instagram worthy picture postcard of Portugese golf! Quinta da Marinha Golf Resort also offers 10 tennis courts, 3 padel courts, 3 squash courts, a sauna, gym, indoor swimming pool, restaurants and the fantastic Marinha Equestrian Centre. Oitavos Dunes Golf is the first golf course in Europe and the second in the world to become a Gold Certified Signature Sanctuary. Penha Longa enjoys stunning panoramic views over the Sinta mountain range. Estoril is one of the oldest and best-known courses in Portugal. Quinta da Beloura and Belas also enjoy amazing reputations.
A trip into Lisbon only takes 40 minutes and offers the buzz of a very active nightlife, monuments, a wonderful gourmet scene, Fado and the charming tram system.
