This exceptional villa is situated in the Quinta do Peru Golf Resort, a 15 minute drive from the fabulous beaches of Lagoa de Albufeira, Praia do Meco and Portinho da Arrabida. With the magnificent Serra da Arrabida in the background, this is a wonderful natural area. Sesimbra is the nearest city with its famous fish and shellfish restaurants. The incredible, vibrant city of Lisbon is 30km away. 
 
The exclusive Quinta do Peru Golf Resort is excellent and set in a fragrant pine forest between Sesimbra and Setubal with the marvelous Arrabida Mountains in the background. The resort is a beautifully crafted design by Rocky Roquemore with astute bunkering and true-rolling, quick greens. There is a welcoming clubhouse with a pro shop, restaurant, bar and a sun terrace.  
 
Casa Falou has an amazing open plan living, dining and kitchen area with two complete walls of glass so that the whole space is illuminated. It is contemporary, striking and extremely well finished. There are eye-catching touches, fantastic light fittings and luxury furniture. The log burner is modern and the kitchen is is sleek and glossy with a useful breakfast bar and a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning coffees. Also downstairs are two double bedrooms with kingsize beds and immaculate ensuite shower rooms, one double bedroom with a double bed and a twin room as well as a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The twin beds can be put together to make one large bed. 
 
A modern floating staircase takes you upstairs to the astounding master bedroom suite which has a kingsize bed, a pristine ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, a wonderful walk-in closet and access to the balcony where you can enjoy the astonishing views. 
 
The villa only gets better outside with the brilliant 12m x 5m heated infinity swimming pool and fabulous decked terrace. The sun loungers are first class and there is outdoor lounge furniture where you can enjoy early evening drinks and the views. There is covered alfresco dining with a built-in grill area. The villa has a wonderful large garden so there is plenty of room for children to play. Private parking is available inside the property. Casa Falou is hard to beat!

Casa Falou and the Quinta do Peru Golf Resort is located 30 minutes drive from Lisbon city and 15 minutes from the stunning beaches on the Costa da Caparica coastline. The villa is 8km from the village of Azeitao where you will find a good range of shops, a bakery, butcher and other shops.
Praia do Meco beach occupies a 4km stretch of golden sand, backed by sandy cliffs and a pine forest. The Bar do Peixe beach bar is lovely. There is an annual frisbee competition on the beach and also the location has been used for the Super Bock Super Rock Festival on several occasions. Nudists area allowed in the area south of the large dune in the middle of the beach. Lagoa de Albufeira beach is gorgeous.
Three lagoons stretch over a kilometre of the beach where three minor rivers flow into the beach. The lagoons are popular with kite or windsurfers who want to practice while the fierce waves on the beach are perfect for surfing and bodyboarding. Even in the height of summer, there is still plenty of room on the beach. Favourite beaches for families along the coastline are Praia da California and Praia do Ouro though the most beautiful is probably Praia do Creiro and Praia dos Galapinhos. You can explore the wonderful coastline by kayak, boat tour or you can take a dolphin watching boat trip.
Sesimbra is adored by the Portuguese and is famed for the freshly cooked seafood served at the family-run Marisqueira restaurants as well as the pristine beaches. The most popular dish is Arroz d Marisco, a delicious meal of shellfish, crabs and rice that is served in a clay pot and is designed to be shared. There is a wonderful fish market. As it is aimed at the Portuguese, you can immerse yourselves in the Portuguese culture in Sesimbra and it is not expensive. Sesimbra is an area of amazing and diverse natural beauty. There are fantastic, challenging hiking and biking trails through the rolling hills of the Serra da Arrabida. For the less energetic, you can take a drive through the centre of the park and enjoy the fabulous views from Estrada de Escarpa. The Cabo Espichel, a wild and exposed cliff headland, is fantastic with incredible views, a unique church, lighthouse and two sets of dinosaur footprints. The bleak headland was once an important pilgrimage destination, hence the church complex with pilgrim’s accommodation.
You can easily visit the working port of Setubal with its colourful harbour and pretty waterfront and quickly drive into Lisbon.
