Casa Verdizela is a lovely airy modern four bedroomed one storey villa that sleeps up to 8 guests. Set within a beautiful Pine forest and surrounded by greenery on the renowned Aroeira Golf resort, Casa Verdizela enjoys contemporary living with Wi-Fi throughout and boasts its own private pool. Casa Verdizela is a beautiful modern retreat with a calm relaxing ambience. Set within the immaculate grounds of the Aroeira Golf Resort, it feels secluded and luxurious; this really is a lovely spot to spend long lazy sunshiny days and to relax inside or out on warm balmy evenings.
Sunlight streams through floor to ceiling windows in the high-ceilinged open plan living area, with cool, clean lines and tasteful contemporary furnishings. Enjoy lounging on elegant sofas in front of the huge wall-mounted flat-screen TV, or take advantage of inside out living as the lounge seamlessly flows to the gorgeous outside space.
Visually stunning, there is a spacious decked area surrounded by greenery, barbeques and alfresco dining can be enjoyed at the relaxed table with funky lighting, or stroll to the sundeck and sink into oversized loungers which surround an inviting picture-perfect pool. The villa offers space, elegance and brightness, continuing into the bedrooms. The gorgeous airy master double bedroom enjoys a modern en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower. Two further spacious, tastefully decorated double bedrooms enjoy the benefit of en-suite bathrooms with showers, and the final double bedroom is a lovely calm and relaxing space. For the convenience of all guests, there is an additional toilet.

The Aroeira golf resort is located in Herdade da Aroeira, on the Costa de Caparica and is only 25km from the centre of Lisbon. Surrounded by a scenic pine forest. Aroeira I golf course has been host to the Portuguese open twice and enjoys an excellent reputation. If you expert golfers want to test your ability, the Aroeira II  golf course opened in 2000 and designed by Donald Steel, includes several water hazards and requires skill and patience to navigate.
The resort has wonderful amenities. There are golf practice facilities and a golf school, a large tropical outdoor pool and four tennis courts. You can eat or drink at the friendly clubhouse, and there is a supermarket and Pharmacy on site.
You are going to be spoilt for choice at the selection of wonderful beaches just a short drive away. Whatever type of sun worshiper you are, there is the perfect beach for you close to hand!
Your closest beach is Fonte da Telha, a huge beautiful natural beach with white sand, dunes and surrounding lush vegetation. Set close to a charming fishing village, it retains the traditional charm, and there are a number of good local restaurants. This is a great beach for walking and surfing and is a popular weekend destination being only a 15-minute drive from Lisbon, but even in the peak season, you can walk past the crowds to find plenty of space to enjoy the sand, clear, cool waters and breath-taking sunsets.
Lisbon is only a short drive away and is an amazing city to visit. You can shop until you drop and a great way to see its fabulous architecture and colourful houses is to take a ride on one of the famous trams.
A charming area to visit is the Alfama neighbourhood which has a village feel with its cobbled streets and unique shops, and it gives you a sense of Lisbon’s history. St George’s Castle looks down over Lisbon and is visible throughout the city. This historical landmark offers spectacular views and has a beautiful castle garden well worth a visit. For the foodies and wine experts, Lisbon is a dream destination, there are excellent tours available, but just by getting lost and exploring, you are bound to come across some hidden delights!
A fabulous way to explore the region is to take a scenic drive across the Parque Natural Da Arrabida (Arrabida Natural Park). This protected park is over 500 meters high and includes the Serra de Arrabida (the hills between Setubal, Palmela and Sesimbra), the limestone cliffs, the turquoise waters, and the lush green vegetation covering the Arrábida mountain range make for a stunning visual display. You might catch a glimpse of the resident colony of dolphins from the fabulous view of the Sado river estuary. The Serra da Arrabida coastline has a number of spectacular beaches to stop off at. Praia Figueirinha is the largest and most accessible beach within the park, with plenty of shade, parking and modern facilities.
