Deluxe Coto, named after the famous El Coto wine, boasts superb panoramic views of the grounds with a smart, traditional stone façade and oak beamed ceilings. This beautiful villa is stylish and offers a combination of local character and modern comforts, built-in stone with blue shutters; this villa offers terracotta floors, neutral colour scheme, sleek country style kitchen and comfortable, relaxing areas.
Traditionally decorated this grand villa exudes elegance. All this is set against the tantalising swimming pool with roman steps and the inevitable lure of the sun deck and loungers. In the spacious garden, a series of shaded pergolas are swathed in greenery and furnished to create comfortable outdoor sitting and dining areas. A separate 2-bedroom annexe offers extra privacy and a wonderful serene ambience.
From the wide front terrace, you step into the palatial entrance with a wide staircase leading to the first floor. The ground floor is open plan and comprises of lounge, dining area and an open plan fully fitted practical kitchen. There are five bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bathrooms, and all bedrooms have air conditioning and fitted wardrobes. For convenience, there are 2 x twin bedroom on the ground floor in the main house which shares a bathroom. The master bedroom is located on the first floor and has an ensuite and private terrace.
The remaining 2 bedrooms are in the exterior annexe, both have ensuite bathrooms and offer direct access out to the swimming pool.Sun worshippers will spend the majority of their time in the beautiful sun terrace surrounding the swimming pool. The separate annexe close to the swimming pool offers 2 double bedrooms and is suitable for members of a group who wish to have more privacy. Combined with a south-facing and extensive lawn, you can bank on a stylish, lazy getaway.
S’Amarador beach is just 2 km away from the villa and was voted within the top 10 of best beaches in the work by the Sunday Times as well as achieving the 1st ‘Best Beach In Europe’ on the OnBeach.com website. S’Amarador is situated right in the middle of the Mondrago Natural Park and offers light soft sand surrounded by pine trees. There is a small beach bar ‘chiringuito’ that offers snacks and cold drinks so perfect for all the family.Santanyi is a historic rural town famous for its gold stone architecture. It’s charming, with quaint cobbled streets, a majestic church and appeals to most for its slow pace of life. You can sit and watch the world go by on one of the many terraces on the main square in front of the church. Market days are on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are the best day to come and soak up the atmosphere, as locals come out in full force to buy local produce.
Agriculture was the mainstay of the town until tourism arrived in the 1950s. Today, this beauty spot is particularly popular amongst Germans for holidaying but also retains an all-year German community. Many creatives and artists have made it their home, so galleries and workshops can be found within the nooks and crannies around the town.
Beautiful boutiques, trendy furniture shops and an array of top-class restaurants are also worth writing home about. Santanyi’s location makes for an impeccable base to explore some of the island’s best beaches, so the town becomes a hot spot in the summer months but has plenty to offer all year round. When it comes to accommodation in this area, there are a few boutique-style hotels within the town centre and some authentic rural agroturismo hotels in the surrounding countryside.
