The Sand Blush is one of five individually designed rooms here. As its name suggests, its alluring hue is inspired by the damask colours of the desert, a perfect tranquil sanctuary of calm within desert-ochre walls. The room is filled with an eclectic mix of antique pieces sourced by the owner from around the world and beautiful handmade pieces created by local Moroccan craftsmen, all illuminated in lovely soft lighting emanating from beautiful Syrian hanging lamps. The luxurious double bed, which can be converted to twin beds if needs be, is strewn with elegant silk furnishings, making it almost impossible to resist its allure. It also benefits from a glorious en-suite bathroom boasting a decedent copper bath perfect for filling with rose petals for the ultimate indulgence, and walls lavished with polished tadelakt.
The Riad provides many fabulous spaces in which to relax. The elegant courtyard is an idyllic space in which to enjoy your morning pot of mint tea, where a heady scent of Jasmin fills the air, surrounded by glorious palms wrapped in bougainvillaea and featuring a rose-filled fountain and lovely plunge pool. There is also a wonderful roof terrace filled with sumptuous seating offering spectacular views over the city and Atlas Mountains beyond; the perfect spot to enjoy a candlelit three-course meal.

Enjoy exotic barbequed delicacies on long trestle tables as you soak up the atmosphere before heading deep into the souks to pick up your very own piece of Morocco. Or perhaps take a romantic horse and carriage ride to explore the area. 
To escape the intensity of the medina, the perfect tonic will be to delve into one of the many spectacular gardens in the city. Le Jardin Secret is one of the Medina’s largest and most important, set out in the shell of a 19th-century palace. Or head outside the Medina to experience luxurious oriental indulgence at Palais Rhoul where Corinthian columns surround a beautiful pool and set beneath a literal waterfall of wisteria. Be sure to visit the architectural splendour that is Bahia Palace while you are here, a nineteenth-century palace of eight hectares, with its fascinating museum and enchanting gardens.
For those hoping to spoil yourselves, get pampered in one of the many hammams in the city, a traditional spa where you’ll emerge glowing after a thoroughly luxuriant experience. Or perhaps relax into a round of golf on one of the many beautifully designed courses here.
