Villa Hadiya Morocco
Holiday Home Rental Description
Stay in a real-life palace just east of Marrakech – this grand riad-style villa has everything you could wish for a luxurious holiday. Overlooking a beautiful park filled with palm and olive trees, Villa Hadiya is made up of harmony of styles, with rich terracotta exteriors with delicate arches and no fewer than 11 gorgeous bedrooms that sleep up to 22 guests.
From the villa, there are breathtaking 360-degree views of the Atlas Mountains. There are an in-house hammam and spa, a gym and a stunning aquamarine pool. This villa has a team of dedicated staff including a private chef, masseuse, concierge and a security guard.
Outside, the swimming pool is unusually large for a private villa – 20×10 metres. This means that everyone can have a relaxing dip in peace and cool down from the Moroccan sunshine. Comfortable blue sun loungers and parasols are dotted around the pool, and there is a lush lawn surrounding the area, with swaying palm trees and exotic plants.
Fountains, Moroccan lanterns and plants add an extra finishing touch. There is a formal dining table overlooking the swimming pool, which has a golden glow in the evening.
There are several lounges at this villa, decorated in a luxurious style with carved wooden and leather furniture, traditional art and Moroccan rugs adding a splash of colour. The space is truly stunning. Each has its own heritage-style fireplace. There are cosy outdoor nooks within private courtyards, furnished with plush sofas and colourful cushions.
The elegant bedrooms also feature antique-style wooden furniture, alongside interesting leather armchairs and fluffy rugs. The double beds are dressed in crisp linen – some are four-poster canopy beds and one room has its own couch. The bedrooms also have fireplaces, ideal for winter nights.
A massage room has been set up for guests to indulge in a spa treatment individually or in pairs. There is a marble kitchen with a Nespresso machine. For meals, your private chef will be able to whip up a delicious Moroccan feast for the whole family – just select the dining package you require. A holiday in Marrakech will be a feast for the senses – there is so much to see and do, delicious cuisine to try and amazing markets to discover.
One of the most exciting parts of Marrakech is the Jama El f’na market, where street performers put on a show. Snake-charmers show off mystical routines and enthusiastic henna-tattooists paint intricate designs on visitors. This area is a great place to dine in one of the atmospheric restaurants – try some traditional Moroccan tagine and couscous. Later, head to a rooftop bar for a spectacular view over the bazaar.
Shopping in the Marrakech souks is an immersive experience – pack your bargaining skills and prepare to pick up everything from intricate Moroccan lanterns to white wedding blankets and vibrant rugs. Some great souvenirs to hunt out include leather slippers and handbags, colourful pouffes, silverware and spices. Stall-holders will pour you traditional sweet mint tea as you browse – it will be difficult not to come away with an extra bag or two.
The Jardin Majorelle is an exotic garden owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Berge, who bought it from the owner to preserve his vision of over 40 years. The space holds over 300 species of plants from five continents – it is an oasis of calm in the busy city. In the middle, there is an indigo Moorish and art-deco studio called the Berber Museum. The Yves Saint-Laurent museum is also close by, and guests wishing to visit both can buy a combi ticket online to avoid queues.
The Bahia Palace is also one of Marrakech’s most famous sights, with its painted ceilings and zeilige tiles. The palace was built by a 19th-century minister to commemorate his wife and restored in 2018. It is considered one of the Grand Palaces of Marrakech.
Of course, there’s plenty to enjoy without even leaving the comfort of the villa. The pool is the perfect antidote to the Moroccan sun – it’s large enough for proper swimming. Indulge in an invigorating massage from the on-site spa therapists and visit the soothing hammam baths to treat aching muscles. Fitness enthusiasts who want to stay active during their holiday will enjoy the gym.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
