Villa Antiope is located in a lovely yet peaceful location, just under an hour away from Paphos. The villa has everything you’ll need for a relaxing time away, just a few steps away from the sea. Think large outdoor swimming pool and a secluded sandy beach a stone’s throw away. It’s located within beautifully landscaped gardens, near the small town of Polis. The charming area is renowned for its laid-back tavernas, Blue Flag beaches and craggy peninsula – a nature reserve that’s said to be the most beautiful part of the whole island.
The villa is a combination of a Mediterranean-styled home with all necessary modern amenities and comfortably sleeps up to six guests in three bright bedrooms, the spacious accommodation is spread across two floors. On the ground floor is the open-plan living room and fully equipped kitchen with dining facilities, there is also one of the twin bedrooms completed with en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, are a further two double bedrooms, both complete with en-suite bathrooms as well as balconies from which excellent views can be enjoyed.
Find access to the outdoors area through the large double doors located at the ground floor. You will find it very easy to spend an afternoon relaxing in the comfy sun loungers, feeling the breeze running through the palm trees, but also enjoying the private pool and soaking up the sunny surroundings. You will also have access to a barbecue and a shaded dining area, the perfect to end a day spent at the beach.
When you’re not relaxing on a sun lounger or taking a dip in the private swimming pool, the charming Cypriot village of Argaka awaits. It’s in-between the sparkling sea and the craggy mountain slopes, and is home to welcoming tavernas, restaurants and bars, as well as a sandy beach with crystal-clear swimming waters. By day, wander along the quaint cobbled streets or relax on the sand. By night, grab your camera and snap the majestic sunset views over the Akamas Peninsula.Located within a luxurious villa resort with access to a private residents’ beach, Villa Antiope features a prime location. Being set within the unspoilt area of Argaka, it is only a few kilometres away from the town of Polis, in the foothills of the Troodos mountains. This charming town in north-west Cyprus lays on simple pleasures and traditional village life. Days here revolve around the soft sand and pebble beach and the square, which is bordered by shops, cafés and laid-back tavernas. Its surrounds include the beautiful Akamas peninsula – a nature reserve – that’s home to a myriad of wildlife, including birds, reptiles and turtles.
You can explore this beautiful nature reserve via buggies, quad bikes or 4X4 tours. The park contains valleys, gorges and wide sandy bays. Stop off at Lara Beach – a famous nesting spot for the green turtle. The beach is remote and is the perfect spot for swimming or relaxing on the sands.
If it’s more beaches you’re after, Polis also has a sweeping, crescent-shaped beach that has shallow waters that are perfect for swimming. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to take part in water sports like snorkelling, scuba diving and jet skiing. Just a few kilometres west is the small town of Latchi with its boat-lined harbour and restaurants serving a wide choice of food including freshly-caught fish. There’s a water sports centre and boat hire there too. From Latchi port, boats cruise the peninsula and stop at Cyprus’s famous Blue Lagoon where you can swim and relax in the amazing azure blue water. Some boats also prepare a traditional Cypriot barbecue with slow-cooked meat.
For more family-friendly days out, the Baths of Aphrodite with its natural pool (you can swim in it) and Avaka Gorge – a popular hiking destination with a dramatic canyon are also well worth visiting.
