Rental Description
This C18th classical and luxurious manor house, surrounded by the area’s famous vineyards, has been completely refurbished with ceiling mouldings, Hungarian-style wooden floors, marble fireplaces, wood beamed ceilings, Italian shower, large bathtub, and a wonderful view over the valley and the swimming pool.
It is ideal for up to 4 families traveling together with 2 adults and up to 3 children each.The bedrooms are arranged into family suites, with children’s bedrooms connecting with their parents’ bedrooms. There is a huge playroom with TV and DVD player, a fully-equipped American kitchen, a dining room for 17 guests and a cozy living room with fireplace.The outdoor spaces include 2 closed and secured terraces, and a heated and secured swimming pool. There are also 2 reception rooms: one for 60 persons, and the old barn for 150 persons.
It is fully catered with a gourmet chef for all meals and wines of the Domaine to accompany each meal. A concierge service is included.
A lot of optional activities can be booked with the hosts, including cooking classes with a chef, wine tasting with a visit to cellars and dinner with the owner or the winemaker, cooking classes for the kids, tennis lessons, riding lessons, French classes and educational activities. Private events can also be held at the Domaine such as weddings and anniversaries…
The Chateau is located in the heart of Beaujolais surrounded by vineyards. It is 50 minutes from Lyon, an hour from Lyon Saint Exupery International Airport, 30 minutes from Macon Loché TGV (1 hour 30 minutes from Paris by TGV) and 2 hours from Geneva Airport. It is close to the Alps and can be a good stop before ski holidays. A private driver service or car rental can be arranged with the hosts – a car is essential in this region. Airport pick up and other transfers can be organized.Catering is included in the rental price: It is fully catered with a gourmet chef for all meals and wines of Chateau Beaujeu to accompany each meal.
