There are even some summer evening festivals with a chance to dine with the locals who include a friendly multi-cultural group and some ex-pats.The slightly off the beaten track location of Villa Altomonte is equally blessed with easy access to all of Umbria’s important towns – Spoleto, Assisi and Perugia are all reachable in just over 1/2 hour.
The hilltop town of Orvieto is under 30 km away and accommodates many remarkably beautiful historic attractions including the stunning Gothic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
