Spello, where Villa Giardiniera is found, is roughly a two hour drive from Rome and just 8 kilometres from Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. It’s a quiet and elegant little town with excellent restaurants famed for the typically robust (and undeniably delicious) Umbrian cuisine, fine wines a raft of historic buildings It’s the ideal base from which to discover this beautiful and characterful region of Italy.
Within easy reach are the famous hill towns of Orvieto (with its legendary cathedral), Todi, Città di Castello, Gubbio, Perugia, Spoleto and the highly regarded wine region of Montefalco.Villa Giardiniera offers a private cook on request. The cost is 120 Euro for 5 hours, which includes all grocery expenses. A babysitting service is also available on request at 15 Euro per hour. An in-house daily cleaning service is also included for free!
