A beautiful beachfront villa on Koh Samui’s north-eastern coast, Villa Farhat enjoys a delightful view of Hanuman Bay. With the use of a range of resort facilities, this stylish property is perfect for a couple but can accommodate three if needed. A private terrace with luxurious plunge pool is among its highlights, just a few steps away from the beach.
With a relaxing spa, a fitness centre and a swimming pool, the resort has all the right amenities to make your stay complete. Your own private plunge pool is an incredible place to spend your evening, looking out on the sea and accompanied by a terrace with a seating area and a beachfront garden with day bed.
Inside, you can enjoy Villa Farhat’s open-plan living space which combines your bedroom and lounge. With beautifully carved wooden furnishings, the lounge enjoys a lovely view and features a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. There are a large, comfy double bed and a small dining table and chairs, plus you have air-conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Just off the main area, your impressive bathroom comes equipped with a large shower and vanity unit, and bathrobes, towels and toiletries are also provided. As a guest at the resort, you can enjoy daily housekeeping, laundry and concierge services and much more.
Koh Samui has a lot to see and do, much of it within a short distance of your villa. The imposing Big Buddha is only a 10-minute drive away, as is the island’s largest town, Chaweng, with its excellent dining and nightlife. The natural beauty of Koh Samui is considerable, and you shouldn’t miss the chance to explore it – safari tours on land and oversea to the surrounding islands are a great way to start. Other notable natural phenomena, like the Namuang Waterfall and the Grandpa and Grandma Rocks, are within reach too.Offering a diverse range of sights and experiences, Koh Samui is the natural choice for a break on southern Thailand’s Chumphon Archipelago. Easily accessible via an internal flight from Bangkok or Phuket, this stunning island lets you chill out, get active or seek out exciting nightlife as you wish.
Compared to its neighbours, Koh Samui is a big island, but you can still drive from north to south in under an hour, meaning everything is accessible. Numerous exotic beaches can be found around its coasts – areas such as Chaweng, Lamai and Maenam all have pleasing stretches of sand, and there are many quieter and lesser-known ones. At Chaweng, you can find activities such as parasailing and banana boat riding, and as the largest town on the island, it has plenty of other amenities nearby too.
Chaweng is also nightlife central. This is where the island’s largest concentration of clubs and bars can be found, with Soi Green Mango considered the epicentre. Old school Soi Reggae serves up live music, while more contemporary venues like Q, Ark and Mint are popular with a younger crowd. You can also enjoy ladyboy lip-sync shows at Starz Cabaret, Moulin Rouge and others.
Koh Samui’s dining scene is impressively broad. With many restaurants diverging from the (admittedly yummy) Thai classics, you will find European, American and other Asian influences on the menus. Chaweng’s Stacked is all about the burgers, while Maenam’s The Boudoir goes full-on French in appropriately opulent fashion. If you fancy dining in your own private treehouse, be sure to book one of the eight tables at Tree Tops in Anantara Lawana, north of Chaweng – it’s a unique experience.
