Nestled deep in the Ternelles Valley and yet a short distance from the charming town of Pollensa, Villa Bricia is a grand holiday home with breathtaking mountain and sea views.
This palatial and estate-style villa has a refined sense of style throughout, thanks to the elegant, antique furnishings and beautiful original features it boasts.
The living room features a beautiful fireplace and a selection of comfortable sofas and chairs. There’s a television in the corner, but you probably won’t spend much time watching it, with such stunning views provided by the large doors that open onto a terrace.
Even more extensive views open up from here as you relax and enjoy a drink. Go through a beautiful archway and into the dining area with a sophisticated table that seats up to eight people. There are also more doors leading to the terrace.
A lovely television room/library is the perfect place to escape to for some quiet time alone. The country-style kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay. There’s also a small table and chairs for grabbing a quick breakfast before heading out for the day.
Villa Bricia has a total of five bedrooms, with all being of the right size and four having an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom also features some comfortable chairs and terrace access, making it a wonderfully relaxing space at any time of the day.
As well as having several partially-covered balcony terraces to take in the views, Villa Bricia is set within extensive grounds. Steps take you down into sprawling Mediterranean gardens full of exotic trees and plants.
Within the main terrace is a private swimming pool that offers uninterrupted views of the forests and mountains that surround you. Take in the scenery from here or from one of the many sun loungers that surround the pool.
There are plenty of spots dotted around the grounds to enjoy a drink or delicious meal, with groups of outdoor furniture for both relaxing and dining. The main al fresco dining area is by the pool terrace, which features a rustic table and benches sitting next to a built-in barbecue.Villa Bricia’s secluded and rural location provides the perfect escape from it all. It’s a quiet and relaxing retreat for all the family to enjoy, with extensive grounds and unspoilt views.
Staying at Villa Bricia will feel like heaven for country-walk lovers, with access to the wild countryside and mountainous areas on the doorstep. The Ternelles Valley features mountain pathways through into woodlands that offer plenty of bird watching opportunities.
The nearest town is Pollensa, around 5 km away. It’s a quaint place to soak up the local atmosphere, do some sightseeing and stock up on essentials. It’s an ancient town, having been originally founded during the early 13th century.
The old town area dates back to the 18th century and is packed with narrow, winding streets and fascinating buildings. Must-visits include the Roman bridge that takes you into the old town itself and Puig de Pollenca, a medieval chapel and watchtower that’s a brisk uphill walk from the centre of town. There are also several modern art galleries well worth a stroll around.
Around a 10-minute drive out from Pollensa town centre, or a 20-minute drive from the villa, is a great beach. Puerto Pollensa has a vast stretch of golden sand that’s perfect for enjoying a family day out by the sea.
The waters here are calm and shallow, making them ideal for the children to swim in. There are plenty of sun loungers and cafés available, so you certainly won’t struggle to find places to relax or find something delicious to eat for lunch.
