The chalet sleeps up to 12, with all sure to be impressed with its range of leisure and entertainment facilities. If you’re a film buff, then you’ll love the cinema room with genuine cinema seating for an atmospheric experience. Equally, the large lounge that takes up the entire mezzanine level serves as a fantastic place to sit back and watch a few films. That’s if you can tear your eyes away from the spectacular mountain views that the picture windows offer.
Other ways to relax at Chalet Fignards include enjoying some me-time in the sauna and indoor heated pool. There’s also a fully-equipped gym for more active types. Children have their very own play room; ensuring everyone has a choice of spaces to find a favourite way to spend time.
When evening falls, enjoy delicious meals cooked by your host and served at the elegant dining table next to floor-to-ceiling windows. Bedtime is even an occasion to look forward to. All six of the ensuite bedrooms are sumptuous places to drift off into peaceful sleep after long days on the slopes. Like the rest of the chalet, the bedrooms feature modern furnishings and an abundance of wood that reflects traditional Alpine style. The nearby areas of Super-Châtel and Pré-la-Joux are particularly great for beginners, with their wide, learner slopes. The resort also has plenty of runs for intermediate and advanced skiers.
Make the most of private chauffeur service to enjoy après ski at the choice of restaurants and bars that are within a 10-minute drive. There’s a lovely, family-friendly feel throughout the Châtel resort, so it’s a great place to share unforgettable experiences with loved ones.

You can start skiing from any one of five interlinked locations, and there’s a chairlift just moments away from the chalet. You have a private chauffeur and mini bus at your disposal during your stay, so it couldn’t be easier to get around. There are several restaurants and bars less than 10 minutes away by mini bus too. The après ski scene tends to be more relaxed at Châtel than at some of the bigger resorts.
Châtel is a traditional Alpine village on the French-Swiss border and has facilities to suit those totally new to skiing, right up to advanced skiers. This means the whole family will find the right conditions for them to enjoy fun-filled days on the slopes.
The Super-Châtel area with its selection of blue and green runs is ideal for beginners, as is  Pré-la-Joux with its learner slopes. At Pré-la-Joux you’ll also find plenty of other activities to keep children entertained, such as a snow play area, tobogganing and an interactive winter trail. If you’re a more experienced skier, you’ll enjoy the off piste skiing on offer, which is some of the best in the Portes du Soleil area.
As well as skiing, try activities such as snowshoe walking, ice skating, snowboarding, sledging and going on husky rides through the snowy landscapes. Children will also love building snowmen and tobogganing.
You can also have fun inside, with the Forme d’O spa and aquatic centre offering both an outdoor pool and indoor pool. Unwind with facilities such as a Jacuzzi, spa and fitness room, and enjoy massages and a range of beauty treatments.
