Immersed in its own resplendent, well established 2-acre park with an impressive private pool and tennis court, Masseria Renata is an elegant and spacious farmhouse  sleeping up to 15 guests in 6 bedrooms. The villa’s nearest hub, the instantly recognisable Ostuni, is Puglia’s iconic whitewashed hilltop town with excellent restaurants and archetypal bars. Nearer still, in less than 10 minutes, is a gorgeous village Osteria while the sandy beaches and the turquoise seas of the Mediterranean stretch before you in just 15 minutes drive.
The Masseria itself is full of quality furnishings and has the highest degree of space and character. There’s a sweepingly large, luminous lounge/dining room with exposed vaulted stone ceilings, a reading room with open fire and a separate fully equipped professional kitchen/diner and a twin washroom. 
Much to everyone’s delight, all four en-suite double bedrooms are characterised by their conical trullo roof and have a gorgeous, regal wrought iron four-poster bed. Two of the largest bedrooms house a single extra day bed sleeping a 3rd guest and one of these can also accommodate a 4th person. Upstairs there’s a separate oak beamed apartment brimming with all-encompassing character offering two bedrooms (one is accessed via the other), a lounge, kitchen/diner and bathroom.   The exterior has a huge patio overlooking the rose-lined gardens.  Here is an abundance of wooden chairs and sun-loungers comfortably shadowed by an enormous umbrella, essential when temperatures soar.  A large round dining table seating 12 is the perfect place to dine al fresco or why not try a floodlit evening game of tennis as temperatures cool?Masseria Renata is just a 10-minute car journey from the white-washed city of Ostuni, priding itself for excellent restaurants, stylish bars, rustic trattorias and striking medieval buildings – including a magnificent central cathedral, you’ll spend many a day ambling around its narrow streets. The old town sits on a hilltop looking out to sea and has much to delight visitors, including a Gothic cathedral built in the 15th century. Views out across the Adriatic and some pretty beaches nearby also draw people to the area.
There is a lot of architecture to admire in Ostuni. Landmarks like the Palazzo Municipale and the Column of Sant’Oronzo are notable, yet it’s not all about the past. These days, you’re just as likely to visit the city for its excellent restaurants where you can get a genuine taste of what Puglian cuisine is all about.
