Situated on the Payogan Villa Resort in Ubud, known for its beautiful forest and valley views, Villa Kedewatan is a delightful 1-bed villa which enjoys a range of resort amenities. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown, this immaculate property comes with its own private pool and sun terrace.
Double-aspect windows let you soak up the wonderful view from the villa. The outdoor area is directly accessible from the main living space, giving you a spacious pool and a pair of sun loungers. Pretty gardens with a pavilion are also available to you.
Inside, Villa Kedetawan features an open-plan living area which includes a dining table and chairs, dressing table and your ornate king-size bed. The room is also equipped with a 29-inch LCD TV, safe, mini-bar and tea and coffee facilities. The villa is also air-conditioned for your comfort and you can control this yourself.The highlight of the bathroom is undoubtedly the lovely, free-standing bathtub which is big enough to share. You also have a high-quality shower, and toiletries, bathrobes and slippers are also supplied.
You can also enjoy the benefit of room service, a buggy service to take you around the resort, and a regular shuttle into the centre of Ubud. The Payogan resort offers some excellent facilities, with a spa where you can enjoy traditional Balinese treatments in a serene atmosphere. A wonderful pavilion restaurant with an open-sided dining terrace offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can relax with a book in the lounge or library, or beside the pool.

Ubud is an inland area which provides a taste of real Balinese life. It has many magnificent sights, along with a busy centre with a good range of restaurants, cafés and cultural attractions like art galleries you can view the work of local artists at the Neka Art Museum. Traditional dance performances are also commonplace in Ubud.
Around the town you have several temples such as Tirta Empul and Pura Taman Saraswati, and scenic walks through the rice fields are a relaxing way to spend the day. Less relaxing, but perhaps intriguing, the Sacred Monkey Forest is a popular attraction just try to keep your distance from the numerous monkeys who are notorious for stealing from visitors. Also nearby is the Bali Swing adventure park which offers quad-biking, rafting and other activities, as well as the Instagram-worthy swings, and the well-trodden path of the Campuhan Ridge a great place to head out early for a hike.
Over on the western coast, Seminyak provides designer shopping, excellent dining and an all-round chilled atmosphere. With wonderful beaches and yoga retreats, it’s definitely worth a visit, and around an hour’s drive from Ubud.
